Hi, this is Alexis, and my head hurts, and this was looking like it was going to be a short radio and then el-oh-el, no.
In town, the day started off with the fire alarm going off at the Mauvaise Chance Apartments, Danny and New Steve argued over whether it was smart to bring a gun to a fire drill and then talked about disabling the alarm. You should have called me, I know how to do that. Rey warned Jaskier that if he loves air conditioning he's really going to love heat in the winter, and Liam was chipper at Rey who was not having it but he made it up by getting coffee for her and Silver, since they'd been googling what time the coffee shops opened. The new mayor Jesse saw Shunsui was just getting in so they got to know each other, but not like, getting to know each other. Danny and Jesse wondered if there was an actual fire, New Steve and Jesse are both cool with just bringing weapons around, like, guns aren't going to protect you from a fire, people. And Beau just wanted to compliment her weapon.
The squirrels wrote "not dirty."
Rey gave Mayor Jesse tips on how to find out if you can contact home, Silver told Steve how he almost had to be landlord, Bucky didn't want to talk to Danny or Steve. Karolina was too tired to deal with Jaskier being all bard-y, and Liam offered her coffee which was probably good because she just made sounds at Beau, who declared all of this bullshit and Danny and Rey agreed. Eric showed up in just a thong which Rey did not appreciate, and okay, this sounds like the only good part of waking up at gross o'clock am. At least Jaskier made with the flirting, which I think we can all agree is the right thing to do.
Yasha had been sleeping outside and was startled, which is the explanation she gave Danny for why she had wings all of a sudden, and Liam explained there wasn't a fire. And of course Liam showed up all awake to see what was going on, and neither Danny nor Beau murdered him. I think the coffee saved his life.
In ordinary news, Bucky apparently started running the movie theater he got a year ago, and the squirrels are pissed that Amaya didn't give them promised rum.
And then in the dorms, I threw a party! It was very successful, so glad for it to get mentioned on radio the other day. Astrid and I talked about how it's been too quiet, and also my history with a certain trio of musical brothers, and she and Sabine noted that they kept ending up at parties. It's because they're fun. Wayne brought refreshments and Shuri offered to get him colored lights for his room too, since she liked mine so much she told Janet she'd put them in their room. Aww, it's so rewarding to be a trendsetter. Ulysses asked me about drink options and Tahani was gracious enough to stop by on her way to a soiree. And Eleanor made her hold her shrimp.

I got to tell Freya all about going clubbing, and Eleanor showed up even though she still owes me money. And of course we had the traditional I Never game. Which is why life sucks today.
