*a dog growling*

Tempting as it is to have you eat the squirrels, we're on air, Dark Nation. Heel.

*the growling subsides*

*reproachful chittering*

An apology? I think not. It was your ill-advised choice to come to a different universe to find someone to do radio. Was there truly no one on the island?

*chittering*

I don't actually care if they've all died. In the interests of removing the inebriated rodents from my presence as soon as possible…

*sound of papers being snatched*

School was in session. So glad I don't have to pretend to care about classes any longer. Swimming pretended they were mermaids who had to avoid giant crabs. Ah, teaching the useful lessons, I see. Chopped was making abominations from strawberries, chocolate milk, and carrots. There was another cooking class, Bake Off, which contemplated started a cake and finishing it next week with no mention of a freezer involved.

Vile.

Nothing occurred in the Dorms. Town is mostly about bars.

Wayne was uncovering mechanical disasters at Syndulla Scrap while at Covent Garden Flowers was beset by Astrid and her army of paper dolls. Groovy Tunes had Tisarwat listening to music.

The island is as productive as usual, I see.

There was a delivery of grass at Caritas. Rosa was less than impressed while Eleanor attempted to murder her tastebuds.

Devil's Nest picked up the literal devil at some point and he was playing the piano. Bit of a job downgrade, isn't it? Octavia and Duke were concerned about the devil. Of course they were.

*chittering*

Given the island, he's probably on some washed up redemption path. Waste of power, if you ask me. Next note.

Seivarden asked about the devil's weekend. Duke insulted the devil's musical tastes in a transparent attempt to check on him. Octavia got to hear about his waste of a weekend with college girls.

…Charming.

Now get out of my office.

[Sorry for missing radio last week. This week's radio brought to you by shiny new Rufus icons and Taylor Swift's surprise album drop, bless her.

No one likes a mad woman / You made her like that / And you'll poke that bear 'til her claws come out / And you find something to wrap your noose around / And there's nothing like a mad woman…]

Lucifer didn't always listen to radio, but when he did, he liked to talk back.

"Aw, I think today we've got ourselves a baby dictatorial plotter in the making, very Bund villain," Lucifer said, amused, sitting back with a glass of wine in hand. "This job is actually a vastly superior upgrade, darling."
