Fandom Radio, May 21, 2020
Good morning, everyone! It's Tahani al-Jamil again and I'm here to register a complaint about the extremely gross game Dean Skywalker made us all play yesterday. My feet may never recover. We all, in case you missed out, had to play a ridiculous version of musical chairs but with buckets of things to step in--or eat, and Beaker, I don't understand you at all--with plenty of time for mingling beforehand. Steve and Stark--no, the other one--caught up to see how the island had changed since the last time Stark had been here, and then Steve and Astrid laughed at the pain of those still participating in the game. Nina was thrilled to see Prompto and Sidon back from wherever they'd been. And Duke ws angry with Nina about her stellar reporting on his girlfriend's disappearance. I, for one, have been riveted by her reports!
Rosa won the musical buckets, despite Lucille's very best efforts at tripping, and then they were fake nice at each other afterwards. And Duke told Rosa about his encounters with a cult and it was all terribly interesting and apparently Detective Williams is cute and good at his job. If he wasn't so very short, I'd have quite a crush upon him.
Lucille has moved back to Fandom and met Rosa before they had their dramatic musical bucket standoff! So there, have some layers to our tale today.
Summer was offering cheesecake flavored Jello shots at Caritas and free ones for Wednesday participants, so that may be the only upside of what Dean Skywalker does. I'll have to try that out next week. Shunsui was napping at Turtle and Canary, all worn out from having two jobs, apparently. Detective Williams was trying to hang up on people caling to complain about bees--not very publically minded of you, even if you were just rescued from a cult--
And Duke was drinking on his boat again after showing up to yoga with Rey hungover. Is this the start of a spiral? Do I need to have an intervention? My dear friends from Take That had an intervention and Robbie still stomped off in a strop, but it was well worth the effort anyway!
I'll talk to you next week with the very latest about Duke's dramatic life! The rest of you should also be more interesting to help a reporter out.
