Fandom Radio: Friday, February 14th.

*wrrrrrrrrrrCLUNKwrrrrrrrCLASHwrrrrrrrrr*

Summer: Goooood morning, everyone! Happy Valentine's Day, and all that hot garbage! Don't worry, don't adjust your radios or phones or whatever else you may be using to listen to this. That sound you're hearing isn't anything wrong with any of that. It's just the Squirrel Crumbler at work, because we have got some very, very handsy squirrels at this station--yes, I'm talking about you, Leroy!--so I needed to call in a favor from a friend so I could actually do this radio today. Say hi, Amaya!

Amaya: Hi, Amaya!

Summer: Adorable, isn't she? Anyway, I'll try to make this quick so that lovely droning machinery doesn't get too annoying, though you gotta admit, the frightened chittering sound that goes with it is kind of nice. Or is that just me?

So, getting started, we've got SCHOOL, of course, but I doubt anyone's been paying much attention to school work this week. Bloodstains worked off somem energy with working out and cold showers, Cryptozoology took an actual field trip somewhere cold to cool down a bit and burn some bromeliads, and Adventuring got to flirt with pigeons. Oh, this school.

*wrrrrrrrrrrrCLONK*

There was a big ass party in the DORMS, and I am so, so proud of you all, but I'm going to save that for later, because, again, big ass party.

So, in the meantime, in TOWN, Yasha was sort of having a hard time with probably all this this week, because it's a hell of a week to be new around here and find out that you're one of those people who can't exactly get across the causeway easily. Oof.

Sabine was cleaning guns at Wellspring, and I am absolutely not reading this very detailed description of the process that the squirrels have included in my notes because it is gross, and Prompto was texting Sidon while working at Furnado, which probably meant he was reading texts pretty much the whole day, if Sidon texts anything like he talks.

And, over at the Forge, my good friend Amaya here was working hard until she got interrupted by Shunsui, who came in to buy some of those metal roses she makes, only to then turn around and give them to her, which she apparantely didn't appreciate too much because she then just went and stuck them all in her foundry to melt them right back down and, damn, that's a statement, but then he went on to talk about how he missed seeing her at movie class and invited her over to see a movie, which she accepted before shoving him out so that she could follow up on a booty call, and the note continues to say that, yes, all of this did happen, but the player got too lazy to write it out and handwaved it all and then decided to use radio as a way to explain how that scene played out in her head and what is this squirrel on about? Is she on drugs? How does that--HEY AMAAAAYAAAA?

*wrrrrrrFLOOPwrrrrrr*

Amaya: Yeah, Summer?

Summer: Did Shunsui come into your shop yesterday to buy metal roses from you and then you told him exactly what you thought about that by melting them down immediately, but then also still agreed to meet him for a movie night before accepting a booty call?

*long, long pause filled only with whirring and clanking*

Amaya: What kind of question even IS that?

Summer: Oh, yeah. That so totally happened. Hey, Amaaaya? You know he doesn't even have a TV, right?

*another clanking, whirring pause*

Amaya: ....what? What's that, Summer? I'm sorry! I can't hear you! The Squirrel Crumbler, it's just too loud!

Summer: See, adorable? Also, gross. Moving on. Rosa picked a bad week to run out of dog food and had to make an emergency Turtle & Canary run, which I am totally fine with, it was nice to have some peace and quiet, because I live next door to that woman and good god. But it turns out Seivarden ran out of cat food, too, and what is this? A sitcom? Anyway, they ran into each other. Literally. Like apparently physical force that involved someone pressed up between a shelf and a body, because that's a normal way to express your pent-up sexual frustration, sure. But, hey, at least she also got some good cheap wine recommondations from Lucifer, which also meant some good eye candy. On both ends, let's be honest.

*wrrrrSNAPwrrrrrbrrrrr*

Okay, so now that those notes are out of the way, let's hit up that dorms party, because nothing quite says ill-advised like a high school party on sex pollen weekend! Apparently, we have Tisarwat, Nina, and Sabine to thank for this disgusting little petri dish of hormones and alcohol, and it's exactly the sort of thing I'd have done way back when, so I am loving it.

Everyone showed up and probably ogled everyone a bit. Sabine and Tisarwat mostly just patted themselves on the back for their decorations, while Lana and Sabine talked about the various ways they've been handling the week. Sidon was dressed like a giant red cupid and that is an actual sentence I just read, which Nina really appreciated, and Prompto was...also dressed as a cupid, but far less giant and red and more just very glittery. Awww, that's so Fandom! Sabine was definitely appreciating that he went through with it, as did Nina, although Prompto told her no pictures. Dude. There's gonna be pictures. Ulysses just kind of stared awkwardly. Which, you know, fair.

*crrrrrwrrrrrrfrrrrr*

Nina had a cute new dress to show off, which Sabine appreciated, even if she didn't appreciate the week as a whole, and I think this note is saying Nina has Sabine/Astrid flags? But, like, I bet Nina has a million flags, so that seemed redundant. Tisarwat was back to more back-patting as she and Nina gushed over each other's outfits, before thanking Janet for coming, before Janet chatted it up with Shuri about getting into trouble and having 'secret Fandom dresses.' Mae was digging on Astrid's new goth look, and Wayne was digging on what I can only assume is Shuri's aforementioned 'secret Fandom dress.'

*clankclankclank*

Tisarwat welcomed Mae to the party while she got some gloves, which were not made of jello, but Mae did get to tell Prompto all about her awesome jello gloves that I may have had a hand in--

Amaya: Ha!

Summer: I THOUGHT YOU COULDN'T HEAR ANYTHING, AMAYA. Anyway, I had a hand in making jello gloves, they were awesome, the end. Tisarwat also welcomed Owen and thanked him for coming before he got all cute and flirty and appreciative of Nina and her little red dress. It was Nina who welcomed Ulysses to the party and got him a drink, as well as Shuri when she came in in her...man, I have got to see this dress now. Lana? Also there, and so was Grog, representing all that beefy male shirtlessness.

...and I just said that about one of my students. Cool. Anyway, there was a lot of food, but most importantly, drinks, because Tisarwat, Wayne, and Lana all brought alcohol, and if this school had any sort of reprecussions for rule breaking, I'd feel kind of bad for calling them all out right now, but it doesn't, so whatever.

Then there were games, which started out with some Never Have I Ever, which is always a great way to find out really personal stuff about your friends, and then the brilliant idea of Spin the Bottle on this week. And do I have an actual breakdown of how that went? Why, yes. Yes, I do. Because this island is overrun with pervert little rodents.

*clears throat*

Ahem. So!

*clankrumble wrrrrrrr*

Tisarwat started things out by kissing Nina, who seemed nervous, but it went well. Mae and Astrid probably had the most awkward kiss ever, except for maybe the one between Nina and Prompto because, you know, I guess they're siblings now? Prompto also got kisses from Sabine and Lana, but not Owen, they just fistbumped. Laaaaame. Sabine and Owen? Much less lame, because they actually kissed. Janet landed on Nina, and Astrid on Ulysses, and after Sabine's spin landed on Lana, it didn't take long for them to decide go maybe find somewhere a bit more...private....to 'talk.'

And, that, my friends, is a great place to end a stack of notes on a party like that!

*wrrrrpphhhhhclunkclunkclunk*

So, anyway, that's your Thursday, I hope you all enjoy your Fridays and your Valentine's day, and if you're sick of the week, don't worry, it's almost over, and if you're not sick of it? Well, get it while the gettin's good, right?

Summer OUT!
