Fandom Radio: Sunday, May 19, 2019
*heavy sigh* "Good morning, Fandom. This is Hernando Fuentes and I have just been woken by squirrels throwing acorns. I believe they were aiming for Sparkle but they hit me and we had a brief discussion about whether I would be doing the radio or whether I would be ensuring my husband would have some new pelts for his Spring fashion line if the squirrels woke him up. They have chosen wisely and so you have me as a radio announcer.
In the Dorms, Nina tripped over Vette's kitten."
Pause.
"Um. Right. We're in the past. Moving on.
At the reunion, people picked up their nametags. Paris was there in a pantsuit. Beaker was there in a lab coat. Miguel was there, no special note on what he was wearing other than a nametag.."
Pause.
"Ahem. He was talking with Beaker about who they were hoping to see.
Lana was there, she spoke with Sabine about how busy they both were and Nina about the time displacement.
Dante was there, looking not much better than he had that morning. He spoke with Anders about being real and, I quote 'then it got mushy'. Squirrels, I am not Amaya. You may include the mushy. I enjoy mushy.
A scarred, blind man was there."
Pause.
"You are certain this wasn't ..?"
*affirmative chitter*
"It was not. Damnit. I had hoped.. Well. Nevermind.
Prompto was there. He and Yang seemed to be deliberately ignoring one another.
Prince Sidon was there. He caught up with Paris and they spoke of his height, her fertility clinic, and her invitation to his upcoming century-mark birthday. He also chatted with Nina about the time displacement.
Sia was there."
*chitter!*
"Hm? I'm sorry, your handwriting is terrible. I didn't see her talking to anyone."
*chitter!*
Hernando's tone chilled significantly, "If you attempt to wake my husband up - at all - much less to ask him to interpret your terrible handwriting, you will fail and when he does wake up, it will be to the smell of freshly cooked squirrel stew."
*subdued chitter*
"What? Don't be silly. I would never threaten you. I do not make threats.
Sabine was there, as was Jaina.
Obviously, I was there as was my husband, Sparkle and we discussed how best to scandalize the squirrels but strangely the squirrels did not write down our ideas. Oh well.
Isabelle was there, as was Dr. Lecter.
Kathy was surprised to see Dante and Anders.
Yang was there, Kitty was there, Fenris was there for a hot minute until he caught sight of Anders and then he left.
At the bar, Anakin and Jaina decided to drink and make up stories about the people in the room.
Dante wanted strawberry vodka.
Liam and Beau discussed the time displacement and the strange weekends.
Sparkle caught up with Dr. Lecter and I hope he did send a photo to Abney of an entire plate of Nanaimo bars that Abney couldn't eat by virtue of being left at home this weekend. It is his fault entirely that Abney is addicted to them. I'm not sorry, baby, that's simply a fact.
Yang, like Dante, was ordering a strawberry drink.
I, meanwhile, was ordering a pair of proper cocktails.
There was a dance floor set up but I didn't see anyone using it and the squirrels didn't bother to note if they did.
In the shadowy corners, Nina and Sabine talked about the time displacement. It seems to be Nina's favorite topic.
Steve was lurking there, chatting with Liam.
Anders, some unnamed girl, and Prince Sidon were all skulking in the dark corners. Skulking? Squirrels, please. Prince Sidon is almost three meters tall and a prince, besides. He does not skulk.
Around town, Dante woke up in the park and talked to Isabelle about being asleep for a month.
Liam gave Verity a big morning surprise."
Pause.
"Is that really something that should be on the radio?"
*chitter!*
"..Alright. He's the sheriff. If he arrests you, I guess you would know why. At least you were kind.
Kitty and her husband discussed whose fault this weekend was and her husband claimed it was not his.
Miguel was at Luke's.
Steve was taking a walk and bumped into Tony almost literally due to Tony being on a cell phone. They caught up on.. I apologize, the squirrels wrote this and I am quoting, 'old times'.
Kathy woke up at Dite's.
Fenris caught up with Peter after he, and I believe they mean Fenris because I did not see Peter at the reunion, left the community center. They chatted about what they'd been doing in the meantime."
"Those are all the notes for yesterday and with that, I am going back to sleep. And the squirrels are leaving."
*chitter?*
"Yes, you are. Now. Goodbye."
