Fandom Radio: Thursday, May 2nd.
Hey, everyone. It's Summer here with your radio for Thursday morning because Amaya got herself bitten and Rosa's got a job to do, which...hey! So you're saying I'm your third choice? What the hell, Leroy???
We're talking about this later.
Right now, though, it's kind of important that people know what's going on because some [BEEP] is definitely going on, and if you're not joining in to help take care of it, please just stay put and keep safe. In the meantime, here's what the squirrels put together by...
*shuffling papers*
'Braving the danger with death-defying bravery unlike the which has never been see--' Okay, no, I am not reading that, you guys are not that brave, I doubt the vampires even looked at you because you're tiny and, like, after-dinner mints at best. But sure, okay, props for still getting notes in the midst of vampires.
Verity got to spend her morning discovering that when your boyfriend gets bit by a vampire, he wakes up the next morning trying to do everything he can to get out of all the protective barriers you've got around him, so that was a fun time for her, I'm sure.
At the library, Constantine and Peter did some of the nerdy heavy-lifting by sticking their noses in books and trying to parse out what makes these vampires different from the millions of different kinds of vampires there are in the multiverse. And the clinic was ready and raring to go for anyone who might need it, so that's always a good thing.
Mae was looking to stir up some trouble for some vamps across the island yesterday, even if Prompto and Karolina seemed to think she'd be better off kind of not. Which is ironic, coming from two people who were also definitely not exactly bunkering down and staying safe. Beau was much more approving and the two of them bonded over techniques and a general love of hitting things.
...like Hardison, Eliot, and Parker, who were very much not cats and were super-hungry vampires instead. Eliot, in particular, seemed to give Beau a good run for her money.
...and I'm going to assume that the lack of finality in those notes means these squirrels just got scared and scampered off and everyone is, like, totally fine and stuff, yay?
Anyway, to ensure that people continue to be fine or get back to being fine, the mayor that I always kind of forget we even have held a town hall meeting, where people showed up to look all pissy about everything. Hotty McBallcap---really? You're sticking with that, huh? We're making it a thing now?--was doing the mysterious brooding thing so hard it even caught Steeeeeeve's attention, while Rosa clearly has her priorities in order by checking out Miguel's butt before getting down to business, not dirty. Eric talked to Tamsin in a language the squirrels don't understand, but made sure they at least understood that he thinks the people in costumes can be the stupid ones.
But, Eric. Aren't we all just wearing costumes of some kind, deep down, really?
Anway. Then a bunch of people volunteered to go out on a recon mission to Baltimore, which, hopefully, will yeild some results and answers and not just more people getting bitten and turning crazy.
And that's it. I suggest anyone interested in helping out some more head on over to the town hall today to see what's up. I know that's what I'm doing. And if you're not, seriously, guys, just be safe, okay?
Summer out!
