Beau: -- the [static] is this, dude, are you serious? I just got [static]'ing herded in here by a bunch of squirrels and one of them is waving at me and -- gah!

Keyleth: Oh, hi.

Beau: Druids, man. Anyone ever tell you that's kind of creepy?

Keyleth: Well, they have now, so thanks, I think. Anyway, I didn't know what they were doing so I thought I'd follow along and . . . help? Somehow?

Beau: Good job on that. Now there's a kid with antlers in here and furry little rodents shoving tiny pieces of paper at me.

Keyleth: But also tiny bottles, see?

Beau: . . . yeah, okay, fine. If I read this [static] can I go? This is embarrassing but I'll do it for the booze, I guess. Hang on, are these -- [paper-shuffling noises] -- aw, come on, this is what you guys do all day? You know this is creepy, right? Why can I read your writing? No, wait, better question: how do you even write with those paws?

Keyleth: They're actually very nimble. You'd be surprised.

Beau: I mean . . . I don't actually care, but sure. Let's get this over with. Looks like the squirrels want everybody to know what was going on up at the SCHOOL yesterday. Ballet for Beginners did some choreography work and the creeper rodents felt the need to mention that nothing weird happened and class was normal, I guess? What is this, editorializing? Life Lessons Through Screen Time was trying to learn about cooking by watching Good Eats, and you know what, sure, why not. And Practical Diplomacy -- seriously, what kind of school is this -- was working on how to turn people down without pissing them off too much, but also so they don't like come back and keep bugging you.

Keyleth: That sounds like a lot of work.

Beau: Right? Karolina -- hey, Karolina -- was in her office with like five million flowers.

Keyleth: Your face just did a funny thing.

Beau: . . . okay, look. You want to help? You can read some of these. [paper rustling]

Keyleth: It has to be exhausting being that aggressive all the time. I'm a little concerned for you, but okay. This little piece of paper says there was nothing to report on in the DORMS, but there was a lot of stuff going on in TOWN. Including -- heh -- me having trouble with an upset customer at the flower shop which did not at all upset me really and Vette not really sure what advice to give someone about using the meditation room at Wellspring Arms.

Beau: I've got some advice on that. Don't bother.

Keyleth: You did ask me to read these, remember? There were banners and glitter all over the place at Turtle and Canary in honor of International Women's Day, and Apu was being weirdly nice to Astrid. Hernando also had a Women's Day theme going at T-42, where Norman -- oh, hi, Norman! -- came in for pastries and tea and to meet the quokka, and Hannibal went to check up on Hernando and also get asked for his opinion on some tea. It's also apparently noteworthy that Prompto was doing work and not just playing with the puppies at Furnado, and Amaya was over at the Forge making a giant . . . throwing star?

Beau: That sounds dope. Reminds me, I'm gonna try and check in on how that whole project's doing this week, okay, Amaya? I kinda keep getting sidetracked.

Keyleth: You also keep interrupting. Kanan was in his warehouse, meditating and taking calls and talking to Jack, who was worried about Kaidan. At the -- [paper rustling, crumpling] -- hey!

Beau: I got bored. Let me read for a second. Right. Trooper Station, where the troopers were all being way too nice to Liam until Miguel came in to find out that the report about Liam breaking up with Verity wasn't true, and -- oh. Heh. That I'm the one who rearranged Liam's face. Yeah, you're [static] welcome, dude. I do good work, because Rosa asked about it too, and about how he was in general. Besides looking like one giant bruise. He did go see Ghanima about helping him out with some [static] too, I guess? And over at Caritas, AKA where I am pretty much every Friday --

Keyleth: The days of the week have such weird names here.

Beau: I know, right? Gods, stop agreeing with me. You're all cheerful and it's a little disturbing. Tino got stuck with zombie repair duty because he totally lost that bet with Fjord. CALLED IT, just sayin'. Amaya came in to make plans with him for testing out sharp pointy objects and have some drinks -- obviously, 'cause y'know, bar -- with Seivarden, who started by ordering four beers like right off and totally checking Fjord out again. Jack did not order an entire bottle of whiskey right away, because she was being responsible and that was kind of disturbing to say, and talking to Fjord about how beer kinda sucks.

Keyleth: And -- oh. That was the last note, wasn't it?

Beau: Yep, and now I can get the hell out of here, and I'm taking a whole [static]load of this rum with me. Fjord, dude, if we ever figure out how to get home again we should totally go check out Trostenwald. I hear the ale there's actually really good.

Keyleth: Right. So um. Have a good day, everybody?

[[Heh. Been a while since I did one of these.]]
