Fandom Radio; Thursday, March 7th.

Good morning, Fandom! Amaya Blackstone here, with another week of Wednesday's news on Thursday morning. And I'm a woman of action, so let's get right to it.

In SCHOOL, Intro to Dance learned about Capoeira, a sort of fight-dance, which sounds pretty useful, The Future is Swell! worked on--

--Err, where do you all even get these? Anyway, as the song said, they worked on defying gravity. It was grappling hook day in Shop Class, and An Excuse for Field Trips made their way to Brazil to celebrate bate-bola. And Jack swung by afterward to have a little chat with Dr. Lecter about providing some counselling to some criminals she took care of.

Must have took care of 'em real good, too, by the sounds of it.

Nothing much for the DORMS, but we've got a good dose of some TOWN notes.

Sparkle was getting some ordering done at Pick your Poison and got a visit from Kaidan, bearing coffee, a check-in, and an update on some of the stuff he's been dealing with. And the shop might have been new to Ezra, but Sparkle wasn't, so the two of them had the chance to catch up a little when he wandered in to see what it was all about.

I finally got around to showing off my latest great project to Fjord over at the Forge, and, needless to say, he was suitably impressed. Might have been talk about a test run, so I'm hoping to finish up on it here real soon. Seivarden also swung by to ask after that new sword of hers and who may have sent it, but Fjord's sticking by our privacy policy...though I might be rethinking the whole 'anonymous gifts' thing in general...

Hernando went and got himself a shiny new aquarium and spent some time sprucing it up before Sparkle showed up with some updates, some mushy stuff, and excitement over aforementioned tank. There. See? I didn't just chalk it up to mushy stuff and move on.

Busy nights for the bars, so that's a nice change of pace. Maybe they should have beads at the Devil's Nest more often, though I don't see what that might have to do with anything. Especially since Seivarden nearly killed herself tripping all over them before settling in to have a drink and a nice conversation with Jack. Liam's mood wasn't too great, but Jack fixed him up with some shiny blue liquor and an ear to fill, so maybe that helped. Octavia was there to help him try to find...well, maybe not a silver lining, but at least a steel one? And Kaidan got to hear about why that particular shiny blue liquor was Liam's drink of choice that night before delving into the reasons for it. And Octavia and Jack had some thoughtful ideas on the effectiveness (or lack thereof) of beads as weapons before getting Octavia set up with a soda since that's the bar that's held to this place's odd drinking age restrictions.

...which segues nicely to Caritas, which isn't restricted, which was probably good since Sweet Dee had her class in for an Open Mic Comedy Night. Sweet Dee, Astrid, and Norman all performed, and Keyleth was particularly impressed with Norman's ability to stay on stage and work with the zombies. Beforehand, at the bar, Sweet Dee offered Norman some encouragement with his Coke, while Keyleth got water since she didn't know what else to order and it's important to stay hydrated. Sweet Dee didn't seem too impressed with Astrid's request for champagne, though, and Sabine was just there to enjoy the show.

And that's all for today! Be bold, Fandom, have a great day, and we'll see you again next week.
