Okay, head's up--literally--to anyone with a tree nut allergy. It's raining marzipan today. And it hurts. This part of the year is particularly weird around here. Fortunately, we had classes just like normal. Or for what passes for normal around here. Rosa's class plan had been ruined by all the weapons on the island turning into candy canes, which made it much harder for those of us tied up in Bad Ass Bitches class to escape. Practical Ethics had to learn how to say thank you for presents they didn't want as Aphra gave everyone robot goats.
In town, the candy canes made it impossible for Éponine to open any boxes at the post office, Norman was admiring the many dog toys for the creepy three-headed puppy at the magic shop, and Zack was annoyed that his sword had turned into a giant candy cane overnight, and Astrid couldn't cut any flowers at the shop today, and...well, it was better to have just skipped Amaya at the smithy yesterday. Dr. Lecter was unable to stab any of his patients yesterday--is that something we're normally worried abut, Leroy?
*chittering*
Uh huh. Mitsutada was befuddled by the specials board at Luke's again, Old People Watching Movies chose one about Santa, Fenris was not pleased about his sword being turned into a candy cane--Fjord was not pleased about being woken up--and I'm going on record to be not okay with how many swords are just hanging around this place, okay? This isn't RennFest. And Kaidan wrote to Kanan to ask what he thought would happen if he ate part of the candy cane sword. Oooh, hopefully something really horrible today! Dr. Yang really wants something interesting to do at the clinic. Please have internal bleeding. Please. Kanan, of course, was at Caritas because Kitty is on maternity leave still. Seivarden was there because it's Tuesday, and she got a beer if anyone was interested in knowing that. Kitty texted Kanan to apologize for him having to be there--don't! The US has one of the worse maternity leave policies. Don't apologize for taking time you deserve for having birthed an entirely new human. And then Rosa texted him too--good grief, Leroy, were you just hanging from the ceiling and writing notes?
*chittering*
I'm not questioning your methods. Much. And Summer texted too, but then she showed up, making it much easier for Leroy to eavesdrop, and for Seivarden to try to pick a fight with her. And Lana texted Kanan, too, to complain about her lightsaber smelling like melted peppermint now.
And that's all I've got today. I hope that you and all of your bladed weapons are very happy today.
Weirdos.
