Fandom Radio, Sunday, October 21st
Hey everyone, this is Clint Barton with all your Homecoming news from yesterday. If anyone is visiting, I hope you've had a good weekend, and make sure you wave to the squirrels because they've probably missed you.
Let's see, over at the school, Khadgar was using his library time to watch videos of modern dancing. It's all twerking and grinding and dabbing or whatever, right? In the dorms, Prompto woke up from a weird dream and discovered Jason had turned into a small dinosaur. I'm so glad to be coming to you as a person right now, I'm just saying.
In town, there was a special at Luke's for any alumni, and Seivarden found carved pumpkins all over the place at Covent Garden Flowers. I mean, it is that time of year, right? During the dance, Eric was at the park, and got some texts from Kate. Seivarden was surprised to run into Eric, and Sia found him after the dance, which apparently had too much glitter. Doesn't it always?
Speaking of the dance, I think that's what the rest of these notes are all from. The theme was "Halloween Under the Sea" which... I'm getting some mental images, and they're all hilarious. Sia and Cade wondered why the dance even bothered to have non-spiked punch before getting caught up with each other. Sidon was looking especially princely as he brought Norman-the-crab to the dance, and he and Lana talked about traveling to each other's worlds to check them out. Sabine and Theron tried to figure out why so many people at the dance were animals, and what might happen if they all changed back at the same time. There'd be a lot of distracting nakedness, that's what would happen. Prompto was also all dressed up for the dance, which earned him some flirting from both Yang and Lana. Ladies can't resist a good suit, it's a simple fact. Ezra was very happy to run into Ada, as was Isabela, and it isn't any less weird to read these notes when you're all alumni, for the record. Hannibal got Leto caught up on island affairs, including all the people he knew who were currently animals. Sabine complimented Tip on her suit - see, it works in every direction - and they talked about what's normal for Earth-across-the-causeway versus what's normal for Fandom.
Astrid was lurking, but Sabine still found her and checked in on her. Jughead was also lurking, and he and Astrid talked about how danced and crowds just aren't their thing, and about what it might be like to get turned into an animal. Over in the chaperone area, Kanan was there, even though he's a cat, and Hera tried to talk to both him and squirrel!Summer. Brooke and Mike talked about how much more responsible people they are now compared to their high school selves, and Rosa and Miguel talked about, uh, interesting situations to put students in in the name of a class or detention. Zoe got to announce all the folks who won Homecoming Court - Astrid, Nina, Lana, Rufus, Tip, Norman, Paris, and Beaker - and there were surprises, which is always nice. Poor Norman was a crab, but Tip took care of him, and she congratulated Paris and agreed that their partners were a little strange. Look, it wouldn't be Fandom if everything was normal.
And that's all I've got for notes, so that's my cue to stop talking. Have a very good rest of the weekend, and enjoy the rest of Homecoming.
