Fandom Radio- Tuesday, October 16
Uh, hi. This is Sabine, filling in, I guess? I guess I can check off 'getting kidnapped by squirrels to do radio' off the list.
All right, so, in school, Shop class was inspired by our time in Greece to work on pottery wheels, Badass Women was canceled because the teacher was sick- I guess that's why I'm here- How to Make Friends and Influence People just talked about vacation, and Circle of Life tried on pregnancy bellies. Oh no. It's too bad I had to sell tickets to homecoming today. So sorry I missed it. Over in the library, Tip was getting the silent treatment, which I think is normal in libraries anyway.
In town, Kaidan hung out on the beach with dogs, Nell was having... a tough day at Covent Gardens, and Rosa had the opposite of that because she brought her dog to the trooper station.
But all the real news came from the onsen, where they held Kitty's baby shower. I don't know what people do at these, is the spa theme supposed to be literal?
*chittering*
Surprisingly, no, I haven't been to any Mandalorian baby showers. It seemed to be pretty popular, with Hera telling Kanan that Kitty would appreciate him making it in since he's currently a Loth-cat. Oh. Oh no. Uhh, if I'm needed for TA duties let me know? Rosa educated Tony on why games at showers are terrible, and Bobby let Tony know that it's okay that he's here, while Emma realized there's another Bobby in addition to the ones she already knew about. This town. Eponine caught up with Mike and Jack, and what they don't tell you about radio is how creepy it can feel reporting on people you don't know. Jack and Mike also caught up, and Emma promised Jack that she would behave. Also Professor Lecter brought Jono, who is a snake. Is this normal at baby showers?
There were presents, and Eliot cooked up all the food. Kanan came begging for food, I can't believe I just read that out loud, and Eliot and Tony also noticed how Kanan's a cat. Hardison thanked Eliot for the work, and mostly the star of the show was Kitty, which probably goes without saying.
Kanan greeted her even though he's a cat, and she encouraged him to take advantage of a pedicure anyway, Tony and Kitty talked about weird things happening at big events in their worlds, Rosa declared the shower not terrible, and Kitty assured Bobby he's allowed to be there even if he's a student. Eliot checked if she needed anything and brought her more food, and Mike warned her that his baby gift has profanity on it. Kitty caught up with Jack and Emma, who I guess haven't been in town for a while. Hi, I'm newer. Eponine asked if she could get in on the babysitting thing, Summer asked if she was excited, Steve told her about the trip, and Hardison told Kitty that she and Clint would get time in the onsen and wouldn't have to carry any gifts out. Which is probably the best gift they could get, and a good note to end on.
I won't be doing this next week.
