Well. This is the saddest stack of notes I've seen in a good while.
*chittering*
No, I wasn't complaining.
Nothing at all happened in either the School or the Dorms.
Town was also extremely quiet, with the only things of note being that Hernando was at T42 with cold tea and Seivarden went home to her apartment and she and Peter were exceedingly awkward at each other.
That's it. That's all that happened on the island.
On the island that was a lot nicer before we came to Athens… first thing in the morning, still in Zakynthos, Nina broke into Vette and Breq's room to…
Why is this note just a pile of exclamation marks and hearts?
*excited chittering*
Are those flags? Why do you all have flags?
*even more excited chittering*
I don't think Greece has done any good for the squirrels' sanity, everyone, and I never thought I would say that. From what I can make out of these very incoherent notes, Nina broke into Vette and Breq's room to shriek, flail and… something I can't make out… about the fact that Vette and Sidon (that's fish boy, to you regular listeners) are dating.
*chittering*
The squirrels are very excited.
Breq was mostly confused about how Nina even knew this while Vette threw a pillow at Nina for waking her up at the crack of dawn to talk about this.
There. That was the most exciting thing that happened all day yesterday. The rest of the notes look like they're about our misadventure into ancient Athens--I'm fine, Tseng; just temporally displaced--and how no one in the school administration knows how to check an itinerary. The day started off swimmingly with Sabine wondering what the pot in her room was. It's a chamberpot, Sabine. You piss and shit in it as there's no toilets. And fish boy didn't like his bed. Meanwhile Fjord was happy to be in ancient times and eating breakfast while Mitsutada was freaking out. But quietly. Rosa was stalking around and glaring at things until she found wine. And then she did those things, but with wine.
… was that an improvement?
*chittering*
The consensus is perhaps.
At the Acropolis, Lana didn't leave an offering, but Breq did. Over at the Agora, Lana was shopping and Paris was arguing, surprising no one.
Steve and Tony headed to the public baths. Tony promised to protect Steve's virtue and told Steve not to do any godly things.
During the evening things didn't really change much. Fenris liked his room, while Nell stuck her things in hers. At the Theatron a play was going on and Breq, Sabine, and Nell were all watching it. Lana said hi to Nell.
Finally, down at the harbor, Fenris was admiring the ships.
There. Now get out of here.
