Fandom Radio; Thursday, September 20th.
Amaya: Good morning, Fandom! Amaya Blackstone here, with ano--
Summer: Sorry I'm late, but I'm here! I brought coffees!
Amaya: How can you be late for something you're not expected to be at?
Summer: What do you mean? I'm going to help you with radio again.
Amaya: 'Help.'
Summer: Exactly! Only this time, we'll split the notes and do it together. You take dorms, I'll take everything else.
Amaya: Summer, there are no dorms.
Summer: Ohh, man, really? Oof, tough luck of the draw, then, huh? Anyway, we better get to it, people don't tune into these things for the witty banter and charasmatic nature of the hosts, they do it for the stone cold hard facts--
Amaya: Sure they do.
Summer: So let's get to it!
The SCHOOL day started out with Humanoid Health and First Aid being canceled for Yom Kippur. Mad Kings and Queens talked about a queen who just made people sad, and Nailed It! made chocolate-covered marshmallow cookies and now I'm hungry. The fact that Karolina brought cupcakes to the teacher's lounge doesn't help, either, and Brooke brought booze. Ha! And that's how I know I'll be able to hack it as a teacher here one day.

Pssst, Amaya, it's your turn.
Amaya: *sigh* And in the DORMS...there are no notes for the dorms.
Summer: But there are notes for the TOWN! I was feeling the need to relax, so I went over to the onsen that morning--
Amaya: Does this have anything to do with last week's broadcast?
Summer: I don't know what you mean by that. Anyway, I went there, and so did a lot of other people, so it was a really nice morning. Fjord and I talked about good days and ways to fill the time and I really hope he does follow through on the suggestion I gave him, you'll like it, too, Amaya, no, don't look at me like that, I'm sure you'll find out eventually. Fjord also got to meet Mitsutada, and gave him a very quick lesson on the importance to phrasing and then Fjord chatted with Seivarden a little about things to do around here that's not sitting barely dressed in hot water.
Which I am definitely a fan of. And everyone else is, too, I guess, since Fjord told Miguel--ohh, that's him name!--that yesterday was the busiest he's seen the onsen yet.
Amaya: Why do you look so smug about that?
Summer: No, I don't. That's just my face. Anyway, I also got to give Seivarden shit because I figured out she's sleeping with my neighbor--yeah, that's right. Bribe those squirrels all you want, it's not going to do you any good when the person reading the notes knows exactly what those redacted lines say! And for the record, I am very funny, thank you. I also got to meet Mitsutada and he told me about being a sword--
Amaya: In the water? What about rust?
Summer: Uhh, I think it's probably a bit different when he's in his corporeal person-body, Amaya.
Amaya: I...well...I...I would hope so!
Summer: You good? You're good. Seivarden was a little confused about the being a sword thing, too, but also about Mitsutada wearing his gloves in the bath, and then Miguel and Mitsutada were just cute. That's all the note says, that they were...just cute. Aww. I don't think I'd go as far as to say Miguel and I were cute, but we did catch up a little.
Amaya here had a quiet but productive and gremlin-free day at her forge, Breq had butterflies at Groovy Tunes, and over at Covent Garden, Peter dealt with a playful kittenwillow, squirming daisies, and a confused Fenris looking for a job.
Sparkle was restocking the shelves and doing a little personal shopping at Pick your Poison, before Kaidan showed up to get recruited to help, bearing gifts of weapons.
Amaya: Which are the best gifts.
Summer: I'm...actually inclined to agree with you on that. Although, if I didn't know you, I'd think you were just trying to promote your business. Other good gifts, though, include getting a crap-ton of Chinese food for cute couple-y schmoopy times like Steve did for Tony.
And it's still weird actually calling them that.
Amaya: And that's it?
Summer: Yup, that's it.
Amaya: I am so glad I got to spend my morning here in a rum-soaked room listening to you talk, Summer.
Summer: Hey, you got coffee out of the deal.
Amaya: I did get coffee out of the deal. Next time, though, I'm reading more notes.
Summer: Next time?!?
Amaya: Don't even pretend like you weren't already planning on weaseling in here agian next week.
Summer: I. Would. Never!
