Fandom Radio; Thursday, August 30th.
Good morning, Fandom! Amaya Blackstone here, back with another report on the going-ons of your Wednesday. And though there may no longer be those summer activities going on to bring everyone together, the new semester seems to definitely have people out and about and the squirrels at full attention. So let's get started.
Rather nice having classes to report on over at the SCHOOL. Though we're still mired in that week-long tradition of introductions, Dr. Yang skipped over that in favor of nicknames and quick quiz in Humanoid Health and First Aid. Lady Ghanima's Mad Kings and Queens --now there's an interesting one!-- class came with a bit of a lecture on what the kids could expect going forward before they got into their intros, and Dr. Lecter's class, Nailed It!, which I'm disappointed is about cooking and not carpentry, but I guess I don't need the competition anyway, did their introductions before checking out the cooking stations they'll be using.
In the DORMS, and there's actaully a dorms note!, Astrid was having sort of a quiet day playing with a puppet that the squirrels seem very excited about, until her roommate Sabine swung around with food, and they talked about Astrid's art and how the puppet needs to go to class.
**chittering**
I...don't understand you squirrels sometimes. I mean, I understand, but I don't get it. Understand?
Moving on into TOWN, then, Atton got up for a walk in the morning, where he ran into Kaidan and they made plans to go shoot at stuff. Inanimate stuff, just to be clear, and all the snarky banter that goes along with such things.
Kaidan was also in at the C.I.C. later that day, where Vette came in and was surprised to see an already familiar face, and they agree to help each other out with cross-training on languages, and she wound up picking up a job while she was there, too. Over at Covent Garden, Peter's dealing with a not-so-helpful-after-all helper of a kittenwillow, before he headed on over to my new shop to talk swords.
At Luke's, we got Eliot's cookin' up a storm, a fact that doesn't escape Tony's notice when he swings around to get lunch of Captain Rogers, and they talk about various forms of stress relief and...
**excited chitters**
Yeah, yeah, you guys came up, too, but I don't see why you're so excited about that, it's not typically a very flattering mention. Kathy took a break from moving to pop in and get lunch and be surprised that Eliot was there on a Wednesday and they chat about--what else?--food.
Kaidan had a email to send out, and that gets us to the end of the notes! Be bold, Fandom, and you all have a great deal and we'll see you again next week.
