*papers rustling*
I see the madness that's taken over the island about tea has not yet dissipated.
In School Theatre Class for Idiots had to learn how to get rid of themselves.
No mention on how they managed this.
Swashbuckling got story time and sword fighting while Self-Care for Optimal Stabbing got cooking advice.
Nothing happened in the Dorms. Town was a mess, as per usual.
At Furnado, fish boy was busy setting up a colour run for the animals. At the Trooper Station Liam was dealing with missing potholes. Kaidan came in and talked to Liam about stolen coffee and the tea war that's going around the island. Rosa just wanted to know if she could shoot gremlins on sight.
Jono was running around the streets on fire. Cristina lectured him about proper heat safety, which is ridiculous. He's already on fire. Kaidan was also out for a run and Jono bitched at him about Iris' saddling him with his class, while Edward just wanted to hang out.
There's a new loser in town. His name is Hernado and he owns T42. That's 'tea-four-two', for maximum saccharine ooze. Not 'T-forty-two', which I'd argue is the easier reading of it given that there's no spaces in the name.
If you can't guess what he sells, I have no words for you.
*chittering*
I can so insult the newbie. I insult everyone. He can cope with it. Also, Hernando, the squirrels watch your every move. Enjoy your new and total lack of privacy!
Magnus was depressed the place wasn't a Starbucks but Hernando bribed him with a bacon scone. Because tea was involved, of course Seivarden showed up and was even mostly polite.
Astrid only had two dollars, but Hernando let her have tea anyway. Then he offended her by asking if she was a local. Kaidan just wanted to know if the place had used to be an art supply store while Hannibal quizzed Hernando on his qualifications.
For tea? The notes don't say. I assume tea, since everything is about that these days.
Movie Class rounds out the news. There was no tea there at all—until Kaidan brought a monstrosity in with a spigot and tea floating in it. Seivarden avoided him. Jono and Peter chatted about meeting as adults. Peter told Kanan that he'd promised to do a bad vampire movie.
They settled in to watch the movie. Most of them were varying degrees of unimpressed. Kaidan complained it wasn't like the book and later made squeaky noises about it at Peter. Jono complained that the main character wasn't like the real guy at all. Amaya wondered if it was maybe a popular name, while Peter was surprised he was real where Jono was from.
This is why people don't watch movies based on books. They're all terrible.
