Fandom Radio, Monday, October 8
Good evening Fandom, you're listening to WTFH Fandom Radio, Seely "My Hair's Not Pointy" Booth broadcasting.
School, place of learning.
Comparative Religions covers Christianity, and Vala is distractingly dirty. What did she wear a habit or something? Sam talks and answers questions about sex, sects, and nuns, much to the amusment of the peanut gallery, and there's a movie. Z needs to see a Vala about a dog.
Art draws Professor Beaubier. Carefully. At least until Jamie decides to do some nude-except-for-a-sock-on-his-foot modelling. Sheppard admires the sock, and Namine thanks him for the assist. Professor Rogers is less than impressed with Jamie, and wonders why his TA turned against him.
Keeping Your Wits class has Lucy for a guest, which might explain why my notes say things about people being heavily drugged. Then the class plays checkers with Lucy, because that always turns out well, uh huh, hope you didn't bet anything important. Doubly so as far as Beauty is concerned, given she has no idea who she's playing with. Chris and Isabel talk alumni, and Lana shows remarkable presence of mind by walking out of class.
Sex Ed are testy, hee. Everyone takes the test, River eavesdrops, and Rikku asks about ghosts.
Top Model are all about the accessorising...with weapons. I'll bet that was surprising. Students accessorise, then model for Principal Washburn.
Sam opens the Library, despite it being Columbus Day, he's a good boy, isn't he? Claire looks for books on evolution, Rikku wants information on ghosts, Dean brings Sam lunch but not an apology, really, and Steve comes by to talk about meeting pointy-haired jerks who make other people with much better hair's girlfriends upset by being jerks.
Constable Fraser runs Study Hall. Hoshi reads.
Lee and River have lunch in the cafeteria. River hates Lee, woe.
The office is open, complete with spiky egg, and Professor Aziraphale has office hours.
Dorms, place of dirtiness.
River works out in the Gym, dancing, fighting, and totally kicking Irulan's butt in the process.
John and Jaina have a date made snarkful by movie choices. Adah looks through medical journals and gets a visit from Lee. Johnny forces Savannah to celebrate her birthday. Dick cuddles with Annette after an extended nap. Steve gets dumped by Isabel for Wyatt, poor Steve. Crookshanks helps Rikku with her reading, before Dawn drops in with ice-cream and worries about amnesiac out-makings. Troy pretends to read while waiting for AJ.
Up on the Roof, Lana thinks deep thoughts. Anders comes up and they talk, then Chris makes with the hot chocolate bribes.
Town, place of money loss.
Tink opens Pixie Dust. Bart opens Turtle and Canary. Leo opens the Photo Hut. Ami opens the Magic Box. Mary opens the Arms. George Michael opens the banana stand. Chad opens Groovy Tunes. Millie opens Book Haven. Naomi opens Sparky's. Gabriel opens the church. Anyone else sensing a theme here?
Annette opens the Post Office, Beauty talks with her about AJ, as does Dick. I suspect that one conversation went better than the other. Ino asks about the US Postal system.
Gavin and Karal leave the island on a madcap male bonding adventure like true hetrosexual lifemates do.
Meanwhile, Beauty takes a walk along the beach, and runs into Gwynn, and they talk about horses.
Wilson talks to Lucy about his class, and it looks like the squirrels spilt rum over my notes and the ink's run, woe.
Wrapping things up, both Caritas and the Nest are dead like dead non-zombie things, with Emma and Musubi womanning the respective bars.
And that's all the news that's unfit to print, so until next time, this is Seely "And I have better fashion sense too" Booth, signing off.
