Fandom Radio: Saturday, January 6th

I'm Seivarden Vendaai and for some reason these furry animals have decided that I'm supposed to read their gossip today.

**chittering**

What do you mean, rum?

**chittering**

So, there were classes at the school yesterday. Tony Stark taught Lies Your Other History Teachers Told You without Captain Rogers today. I'm not sure whether I would trust their version or the official one. They introduced themselves and chose a favourite historical fact. Gratuity -- what kind of name is that? -- mentioned giant rabbit attacks, Bobby asked if Tony Stark is the real Tony Stark, and Norman talked about sending a whole army to cut down a tree. I've always suspected the military here to be useless, but it's unlikely to be that bad. I think.

Hannibal and Jono taught Music Appreciation, which sounds a lot more civilized. Breq likes everything and sings badly. I once served on a ship that liked singing. You got used to it. Summer also likes everything and plays the flute. Sounds like good students for this class.

Nothing happened in the dorms. Wait, I'm supposed to report on what students do in the dorms?

**chittering**

Why would I want to know that?

In town, I had tea at the Perk. They have decent tea, even if the staff needs to learn how to be polite.

**chittering**

Oh, shut up. At Turtle & Canary, Amaya had ordered too much of something called Nutella. Dante played aggrotech and guitar at Groovy Tunes, and I don't know what either of those things are.

**Chittering**

He played what in the shop? With bare hands? That's... what to be expected here, I suppose.

**chittering**

Yes, thank you for making a note about the pronoun, and there's no need to threaten me.

Octavia wasn't impressed with Dante's playing and preferred to look for CDs, which I also don't know what they are. Dante made some insulting comments about working in the flower shop, but I think we all know what to think of the opinion of someone who plays stringed instruments in public. In a shop.

** chittering**

In civilized places we do.

That's supposed to be everything of interest that happened on this island yesterday, and the squirrels insist that I do this next week too, so if you want this to be short please bribe them with rum.

[This is actually the first time I do radio. Ever. After all these years. It feels weird.]
