Fandom Radio, Monday, December 18th
Greetings, Fandom! It is I, the lovable Peridot! Aaaand-- go on, don't be shy!

Yes! Everyone's favorite veggiehead, the hero of the day, Pumpkin!
*Pre-recorded fanfare music*
The squirrels asked Pumpkin and I to read today's broadcast, isn't that great? They said it was because the usual human who does this thing on Monday was incapacitated and insane at the moment, but I'm pretty sure that was just so that they didn't make Pumpkin feel like she was being put on the spot. But we all know she's a little hero- isn't that right? Isn't that right, Pumpkin-wumpkin-boo?
BARK BARK BARK BARK BARK!
And the squirrels have provided us with a stack of rudimentary wood-pulped communication sheets full of all sorts of things that happened yesterday! Presumably so that while I read them, you can all bask in the glory of Pumpkin's occasional canine-exuberance sounds, guaranteed to fill your day with wonder! So! Sit back, relax, and listen to these notes content in the knowledge that Pumpkin is here to protect you.
Of course yesterday started with a Town Hall meeting, so that we could find out what was going on around the island and do something about it! People arrived and got their bearings, like a large mineral version of Jonothon, who explained some of the situation to Miguel and had a sad-but-serious talk with Dinah about the world in the here and now and whether they can stay. You! Both of you! No more sadness! The day is saved!

Doesn't matter if they're both gone now. My point stands, thank you. Mitsutada and Miguel talked about protecting the house from the big, mean, scary slugs, who aren't here to bother you anymore, are they Pumpkin? Are they! No they aren't, no they aren't! And a Kathy met a Kathy and was really happy that Kathy wasn't dead! Which is a good thing! No end of the world for Us! Dinah thought she recognized Lady Ghanima and got re-introduced, and there was a smallish Raven that both Peters were concerned about, right until she told them not to be. That's the spirit! We small things can do more than they know! Right, Pumpkin?

Anyway, once everyone was settled in, the Mayor announced that there was a way to save the day, and we got brave volunteers! And Pumpkin, the bravest little volunteer of all! And so off they all went to save the day!
That's right! The volunteers all went to a cave at Selkie Peak, where they smashed their way in, stopped an evil ceremony from being cast to raise an 'eldritch horror from beyond,' whatever that means, and then stopped that eldritchy thing in its tracks! That's the part where Pumpkin came in, if anyone was curious. But there were a bunch of other people there, too. They did okay.
After the day was saved, Portals opened up and pulled all the doubles from the future back, and the cave became a not-a-cave, so no getting any funny ideas about going back and trying to raise a big tentacle thing. Pumpkin will have to stop you again. Still at the now-not-a-cave, Miguel called off his deal with Quark and then helped Mitsutada to a clinic while everyone else either regrouped or disappeared. And all around the island portals opened up and birds sang and apparently the crazy locals stayed crazy? So watch out for that.
At their home, Eliot and Parker talked about coping techniques and future vacation plans, and let me say right now, having something cuddly that barks and saves worlds is an excellent start to a good coping regimen. Is that something you do in regimens? Anyway, get a sentient vegetable. They're pretty much... the best. At Stark Industries, Steve needed to have a talk with Tony. The squirrels assume it has something to do with the other Steve that he shoved through a portal, but figured they would need their privacy. Which doesn't sound much like the squirrels at all. I think they just needed something to drink right about then. And, the last note of the day, Kanan made his way to Hera's ship, where she helped him go inside and asked him about his injuries.
And that's all the notes! And so, to celebrate the island being safe once again, Pumpkin and I are going to treat you to an entire day of us telling hilarious jokes from a book I once found! Heeey Pumpkin! Why did the chicken cross the road?
