Fandom Radio, September 26

Hi, Fandom! This is Cher, your brand new junior Student Council representative! Well, one of them, but you know what I mean. Thank you to everyone who voted for me, I'll do my absolute best to make sure your school experience is as stellar as it can be!

If I say "You like me, you really like me", will you all know what I mean? Or is that completely played out by 2007?

School, where I will rule with an iron fist! I mean, um.

Feminism class had a stripper pole. Um. I'm pretty sure that's a little iffy, and yet still higher on the socially acceptable scale than digging up bodies. There was also an informative movie, and I'm not sure I want to know, and then people played with their poles. Oh! Sorry. Played with the pole. Not... moving on, okay! Beauty noticed that Professor Deadpool was back to being all masked up, and Professor Aly and her miniskirt teased him about the pole. That must be some miniskirt, if it got its own mention. Nice job, Professor!

Tactics had a lecture and talked about breaching enemy lines and all that stuff. I'm sure it was fun. Career Choices talked about mining. Which, I guess someone has to do it, right? They found gold, and then escaped a cave-in or something. I hope they all made it. And Japanese had a movie day. I have to wonder if there were subtitles.

There were announcement! Congratulations to my fellow Student Council members, Zack, Meg, Peter Pevensie, Molly, Ronan, Namine, Sam, TR, Bart, Andros and Jenny. I'm sure we'll be the best ever.

In study hall, Adam did his homework with the aid of a doughnut. While I applaud the homework, there are things that fall into a more brain food-y category. Ron bitched about teachers, Neil moaned about the pole, and Mel-who-is-not-my-dad sneakily got the last doughnut. While I have the same issues with the food, at least she wasn't using it to get through her homework. Chad had a quiet lunch, and at the library, Adah pretended it was closed, but it wasn't, because it's the middle of the week and the library, and I think the bookish types might riot. Lee wasn't fooled by this, and this squirrel wrote a lot in all capital letters. Just when I come to grips with squirrels writing, they start changing cases on me.

Dorms, where the people who voted for me live

Claire set up for cheerleading practice, where John Sheppard and Lana decided it was weird for them to talk due to her dating his... previous him and all. Aly got compliments on her miniskirt, and seriously, I think I need to see this thing. Who's it by?

Jamie got a call so late it was practically morning, but he was up anyway. He was still up later when Willow came by, and they got to catch up, woe and all. Billy advised Annette on how to give her cat a bath, to which I say, hire someone. Dick came by and they talked about Student Council and not going out and Parents Weekend and oh god I can't even think about that right now.

In the fourth floor common room, Dean and Sam baked a cake for Dawn's birthday. Aww, that's so sweet. Meg told Dean about the pole in class, and that seems to be one of the topics of the day, doesn't it? And Mel found out about it being Dawn's birthday. Someone didn't check her E-mail...

Andrew prepped for an evening of dead languages- ew- and classic films in the second floor common room. Well, I guess it's a party to someone, I guess? And he and Beauty talked about... a bunch of words beginning with S. My notes at least aren't written in dead languages. Only living languages here. Thank god.

Town, where people didn't vote.

Joanna hung out by the pool with champagne and a pedicure, and I think I immediately like her. And George Michael brought her some "entertainment" but that's written in quotes so I can only assume that's a euphamism. I hope not. There's a chance of ruining the pedi that way.

Professor Wilson got a visit from Professor Aziraphale during the day clinic shift, and Ronan took over in the evening. Kabuto opened the Devil's Nest and had Ino stop in, and I'm sure she looked fabulous. Mary took a walk on the beach, and that's so good. It's important to keep active. It keeps the cellulite away for way longer, without cosmetic enhancement.

Professors Wilson and Aziraphale took in a movie at the park, George Michael opened up the banana stand and I keep thinking that means something very different than it actually does. Anyway, Mary got the dish on his date tonight. Ooh. Another couple I need to remember. That's okay, I can keep up. Andrew opened the Magic Box, and Johnny Storm opened the Photo Hut, where he got to hear about Isabel's trip home and Savannah's nightmares. Also, he met Leo's pupppet, which is a scary sentence any way you take it.

Hoshi opened the hotel and fielded questions from Leo about what's in a Russian hot chocolate. Smirnoff. And I opened Pixie Dust and totally helped Mel find some stuff. Hope it worked out, Mel! AJ opened the diner, where he got a visit from Annette, who said she wanted things to be the way they were. Awww. Beauty opened the post office, and got coffee from AJ, and they talked about books and painting and Beauty's roommate and stuff.

And the guy with the face opened Caritas for Dawn's birthday party. River and Professor Kerrigan had a nonverbal little greeting, and people dropped off presents, which is really the best part of any birthday party, unless like, it's one of those parties that's just off the scale. People mingled, like how Luke can tell Jo from Meg. Bridge and Xander debated Space Evil. I'm not sure what that is, but it sounds like a science fiction movie. Luke had a Red Bull while Rikku got Jolt for Dawn and apparently this is bad.I'll be over here, where I don't have to see it for myself, and where no one will hurl on my shoes.

Anyway, so Dawn got there, and she was all surprised and Sam got kisses for his efforts. Molly was glad Sam didn't flake, and Mel called Dawn a dork. I'm sure it was meant in a friendly way. Mel was all relieved her present worked out- oh yay!- Dawn and Molly discussed hat-wearing seasons, the hallucinogenic frog gave Dawn the gift of a Sex Pistols song and you know, aside from the digging things up, I was pretty sure I was acclimating and then I have to go and say things like that. Dawn decided she's keeping Sam, which, well, yeah, he went and did the party thing, he's worth keeping for a while now. Xander's presents made Dawn sniffly and you're not supposed to make the birthday girl cry. Dean and Dawn figure that Sam's amazingness is genetic, and Bridge got glomped. Hopefully that's a good thing.

That's all for me tonight, Fandom. I hope you've had as much fun listening to me as I've had talking to you.
