Fandom Radio, Sunday, September 23, 2007

Hello Fandom! It's Sunday again and this is Dick Casablancas with WTFH radio. Sunday's kind of suck because even though you get to sleep in you know you've got class the next day and going to the Bob Evans is friggen impossible because it's all clogged up with old church going biddies. Dammit, I'm hungover and all I want is some bacon but nooooooo, Grandma and her 80 biddy friends have got to take for freaking ever with their senior citizen discounts...and um...I forget where I was going with this. It'll come back to me later.

School-ness

The fantastical Principal Zoe had office hours today. Why anyone goes into a school on Sunday is beyond me. Like Lee. He is beyond me because for some reason he opened the library today. The following are beyond me because they showed up in the library on a Sunday: Adah, Anakin, Anathema and Ed. Way to ruin my alliteration, Ed. Dammit. Oh, and Jim and Pam have an innocent walk through the school. At night. Whatever floats your boat.

Dorm-ness

Sora is doing some artsy crap in his room and Namine comes in to comment upon it and talk about home. Qui-Gon offers to help with Sora's art project. In another room, Sam sends e-mail. And since he was at the computer we can all readily assume that there was some porn watching in there. Jim and Pam argue over whose game is better. You both have games? Awesome. Beauty curries her horse in the Stables. What? You can't curry a horse. I don't think that would even taste good. Charlie comes by, hopefully to stop the currying process. River is making some hopefully horse-free food for herself and Berthold on the fifth floor. Karal is outside working on some report thingy and is visited by Inara and Molly. Hoshi is on the fourth floor making spring rolls and watching some foooooooootbaaaaaallllllll! Sorry. It's hard to say football without yelling it. I watch too much ESPN. Ino, Adam and Jenny all take advantage of the free food.

Flag football is back, yay! There's stretching and people use that as an excuse to chat. Dawn tells Dean that she'd totally date a radio squirrel if they weren't so short. Er...I don't think the squirrels are pleased with your heightism. Really? The height is what bothers you? Not the whole covered in fur thing? Now, I love you squirrels but Sam rocks the floppy hair and we floppy haired dudes rock. Dean is surprised to see Meg at practice. That makes two of us. She tells him how weirded out her friends are going to be when she writes them. Yeah, I'd like to see how that turns out. Everyone in Neptune is going crown you the queen of crazy. Veronica will be so disappointed to lose her title. Anyways, Lana came to practice to oogle Jim and I'm going to assume this means her boyfriend Jim. Not that Jim Halpert is nothing to oogle at. I'm sure chicks check him out all the time. Dawn and Molly catch up over practice and are all squealy about their boyfriends. Chicks. John and Molly talk about Anakin and their classes. Jaina comes by to watch for no reason whatsoever! Really! Willow assures English Peter that he'll be on her team and warns him about possible shirtlessness and pantlessness. Dude, I haven't dropped trou once during flag football! I'm on the wrong team. Jim-that-is-my-roomie tells Willow that he still won't drop his pants for the team. For shame! And Dawn wants the details from Sheppard's date.

Town-ness

Remember the days when people didn't open stuff on Sundays? Me either. Joanna opens Wonders of the World, Robin's at the Magic Box, Leo opens the Photo Hut and Gabriel opens the Church. Cable, badass name, is fixing up the new store which is called Wellspring Arms and Meditation. Jack peeps through the windows and Mary walks by. Aly comes by to ask Cable's intentions toward Deadpool. Diiiiiiiirty? Steve thinks Cable looks good for a dead man and Ino and Rikku get hired. Deadpool sees Cable and attacks him. Somehow this all ends with Cable apologizing. Alrighty then. Cable can't seem to cut a break since Arashi shows up and punches him in the face. A.J. isn't allowed to cook at the Diner anymore and it pleases me that fighting isn't the only thing he sucks at. Beauty stops by to chat. Cher wonders if there's a theme with the food and makes plans to go shopping with A.J. I'm shaking my head sadly at you, little sister. Johnny is your sibling by proxy, he'll explain the situation to you. Victor, who still has the bitchin last name of Von Doom, opens up Turtle and Canary. A plethora of Jamies stop by to buy Red Squishies. Victor refuses to let him pay in pennies. Anne is happy in the Book Haven and is probably even happier when Beauty visits her.

Ino is writing letters in the park and Yondaime realizes that they know each other from home. Yeah been there, done that. Deadpool comes up to Cable's apartment and they get drunk. Great way to spend a Sunday. Aly is reading a book at the beach and Roy stops by to see how she's doing. Aziraphale is drinking wine his steps. In clinic news, Doogie and Ronan both have quiet shifts. Color me surprised. Kabuto shows up late to the Devil's Nest and at Caritas GOB is looking for a new bartender. Yay! Someone else to annoy Tino!

Nope, still not remembering where I was going with my old person speech. Maybe the point was not to get old. Yeah, that's it. Don't get old. Anyways, I'm out of news tonight and if there was more news I wouldn't report it because I am really freaking tired. Doing nothing takes a lot out of you. Night Fandom!

Cher was listening to the radio intently, as usual. "I have a sibling by proxy? But... specify your Johnnys!"
