Fandom Radio: Thursday, September 28th.
Hey, yo. This is a thing now, me and the radio business, so strap on in, folks, for another exciting, thrilling edition of Summer Smith gets threatened by squirrels that her robot self got addicted to pumpkin spice. Actually, considering this place, they probably were already addicted, and she just exacerbated things. Good work, Robot Summer!
And let's see what good work all of you got down to yesterday.
At SCHOOL, Intro to Earth Zoology learned about dragons, specially a Japanese butterfly lizard which sounds like it would be super pretty and cool, so, like, it would probably kill you in a really horrible way.
I'm glad to see that the books behaved long enough for my friend Peridot at the library enough for her to do some research, and Breq came in to do some research of her own, since it seems she's going to be sticking around for a while, and the two of them bonded over how primitive spaceships are here. You two should see my grampa's. You'll probably die laughing.
Nothing happened in the DORMS. Nothing that these squirrels cared about anyway.
But in TOWN, there's a whole lot of dealing going on. Peter's dealing with fire-spitting plants over at Covent Garden Flowers, Breq is dealing with humming and organizing at Groovy Tunes, Anders is dealing with this world's latest attempt to come up with a hot new dropbear over at Furnado, which Dante is also having to deal with when he stops in, and Lady Ghanima is dealing with lamps, lamps, lamps over at Needful Things, which happens to employ the coolest people, just so you know. Seivarden came in, intrigued about the store, so I hope she's looking for lamps.
Kenzi's dealing with a Mauritius kick at Luke's Diner, and I am totally okay with admitting that I don't know what that means. At Pick your Poison, Ino's dealing with Sparkle and a kid. Not her kid, or Sparkle's kid, some other rando person's kid. She also had to deal with Miguel, who was dealing with some confusion over the fact that a store called Pick your Poison sells bath things and tea and not, oh, I don't know, poison. Or booze.
Something I'm sure a lot of us will be wanting to deal with after this weekend. Right now?
I'm just going to deal with getting out of here and getting to class.
