The sun is out so it's it's morning or an exceptionally late night. My name is Frank Doyle - charmed, I'm sure - and the squirrels talked me into filling in while we were all at the store last night. After an aggressive negotiation, *clink* I agreed.
So let's take a look at these notes... Nothing happened at the school. That's to be expected. It was a Saturday.
Moving swiftly over to the dorms since nothing has gotten in the way thus far, much in the same way Dante made his way back to his room from Ringo's room early in then morning. And on a related note, Ringo woke up in her room with a hangover and regrets.
I, myself, have never had a hangover because that would require stopping drinking. I also have very few regrets! So even though this is a news program and not an advice show, might I suggest a hair of the dog? And then perhaps shaving the dog? Metaphorically. Please do not shave any actual dogs, that would be monstrous.
Although if The Dog Shaver were a TV show, I would watch that show. At least once, to check it out.
Speaking of TV! In the fifth floor common room, Jalian did some in depth research into the TV as a means for propaganda, which is clearly the case. If you think Ben the Bachelor isn't winning some form of rigged election this year, then you're not discussing The Bachelor with the right crazy people. Lucille checked in about the TV - with suspicion, if I can read between lines that may not actually be there - and Jalian gave the entire medium an unfavorable review. Ringo was hoping for an distraction, and she and Jalian ended up discussing cake. And Raven - the one who is my elder sibling, if I know my last initials - was simply amazed that Jalian was watching TV.
That's it with the dorms. Let's talk about the town.
Tony and Sarah had a date at Ching Tai, where they discussed romantic topics like the government tracking of superheroes. I'm not sure they know how to do dates.
Leto stopped at the Perk during a visit to the island when Tamsin came in, looking an awful lot like somebody he knew. But she isn't someone he knows, and it devolved into snark, as all things in life do.
Jono had a CD playing and special display set up for somebody named Envy at Groovy Tunes.
And saving the best for last, Mike had a special going on summer-themed drinks at Caritas, which Sparkle and Leto tried - extensively - and used as inspiration to sing some karaoke. But now I'm going to turn the microphone off so the squirrels and I can talk a little more about those drinks.
