Fandom Radio, Monday, September 21st
Hi, everyone. This is Frank Doyle with your news and a surprising amount of rum! I had no idea squirrels would stock a radio station so well. Kudos to you, school, you've truly taught me something this morning.
Part of the bargain is, of course, that if I drink the rum I have to read the notes. Fortunately, I can do both at the same time.
*glugglugglugglug*
Ah. Let's get started, shall we?
Surprisingly, there's a card labeled "School" even though yesterday, was Sunday. Buy a calendar, Face! I assume that's a person and not just a floating visage surrounded by books, because this Face person or specter was hanging out in the library on a perfectly good non-school day, reading poetry, the worst of all forms of writing. I'm including internet comments in that, too! Fortunately it has some redeeming value in that it was filthy, which seemed to scandalize Cassandra.
Let's move to the dorms, where people were more reasonably located on a Sunday. Kathy tried having a lazy Netflix day, and she would have succeeded if not for the constant interruption of other people. Dante had some form of company in Ezra that ventured into the middle of the Venn diagram indicating both Hot AND Heavy, so Anders fled the room he presumably shared with one of them to arrive at Kathy's. He paid for his freedom with traditional catching up questions. Kathy was back to doing nothing when my very own big sibling, Raven, came by and complimented her sloth, which often ranks in the top seven of best sins. I may have that wrong. In any event, Kathy blamed Raven's influence. And finally, Ringo dropped in and Kathy asked more about the upcoming party on Friday.
Unrelated to any of those people, Mara and Eggsy had some sort of date at the main campfire, which is a thing we apparently have on school grounds. They mostly burned food and talked about droids.
And since they are the final set of notes I have, I suppose I'll move onto the notes from town. It's nothing but business being open, but I guess that counts as news around here.
HOT ITEM: Anders worked on paperwork at the Magic Box. THRILLING!
BREAKING NEWS: Jono had what sounds like routine - for him - mechanical problems with the stereo at Groovy Tunes, leading to him taking it apart, and it blowing cold air and playing Silver Bells. No word on how cold it was! SUSPENSEFUL!
AND THE GRAND FINALE: Sparkle was at Demon Marcus, checking the stock and doing more paperwork! Or, as I like to call it, the ol' Fun and Whimsy!
Well, if the squirrels are really conscripted to spy on and then report the everyday lives of perfectly normal people - grading on a curve - then I fully understand why they drink so much rum. And I appreciate it, because they share. And now if you'll excuse me, they're about to continue sharing!
