Good morning, it's Mara Jade in a much quieter radio booth today.

Apparently Maurice strained his writing paw yesterday. Also, we have a squirrel named Maurice.
In classes, Creative Inspirations--with a beat-up Dr. Lecter, and that's not good--explored the Abbey Library of St. Gall in Switzerland. Dante gave Dr. Lecter advice about ducking, while Maria was upset someone hit him at all. Cosette's impressed by the library, but everyone else was more interested in how Dr. Lecter was kidnapped to do much creating. Oh, Professor Starsmore also talked about our visitors from last week and Halloween. Is it time to think about that holiday already? For you new people, Halloween is a holiday involving costumes and candy. Just go with it. Health class had a movie day, Deception class pretended to be politicians, and Drama learned about and then performed monologues, which would have been a nice crossover with politicians. It's not a crush, shut up. I just like competence, okay? Ezra was there with popcorn--good call, Ezra--and Dante stole some as an entrance fee, which seems more than fair. Alluka turned the second floor common room into a giant fort using all the furniture, and Ringo tried to coax her out of it unsucessfully and ends up getting lost inside it. Um, someone check on Ringo today, okay?
In town, new book store owner Jones found tea waiting for her when she went to work. That's either nice or creepy, depending on how long you've been here. Ada was down on the boardwalk looking for a game to play when Isabela offered to play with her.

Well, yes, I noticed the euphemism there. And now so does everyone else. At Luke's, Eliot was emphatically not doing a Cajun accent, but Hardison was. Eliot was not that impressed by it.
And that's where I leave you, Fandom! Tune in tomorrow for more of the gossip of the island.
