Fandom Radio, Thursday, August 13th
Sup, Fandom, this is Hardison back from my, uhh, sabbatical last week. *Coughs* Uh, anyway, there ain't a lot of news this week, so let's go.
School is up first with the last week of classes. World History covered the plague in what was probably a scary amount of dispassionate detail, at least if I know my teachin' buddy. The class spent time thinkin' about customs an' trivia that means somethin' different now than it did before. Then, in Conspiracy Theories, Wash had his class discuss what they learned over the session, probably includin' stuff about Bigfoot causin' 9/11 or whatever the current crazy theory is. Yo, trust me, there are parts of the internet you do not wanna poke around in, an' the conspiracy nutballs section is just one place. Jasper finishes up the rest of the student presentations, sayin' the protagonist of Murder, She Said is actually a serial killer an' you know, he might have a point. Last, in World Mythology, the class covered the Oresteia, an' speculated whether it could have turned out any differently for Orestes. Like, you know, if he'd maybe been born into a family that wasn't all cursed an' crazy, for a start.
Not a lot goin' on in Dorms, just that Kathy is tryna draw up plans for a slumber party or somethin', though the squirrels say she ain't havin' a lot of luck there. As I was never a teenage girl, I'm probably not at all fit to offer advice on that, so, good luck to you Kathy in figurin' it out. Raven came by to try to help plan, since Kathy's declared herself some kinda party-throwin' failure or somethin', but then talk moved on to how hot everyone here is an' likin' both boys an' girls an--HEY LOOK, WE'RE MOVIN' ON TO A NEW SUBJECT. LIKE HANNA. Hi Hanna! Cause Hanna also showed up an' reminded Kathy that there have been movie parties or whatever an' movies are a MUCH better topic of conversation, thank you.
Nothin' happened in Town at all, which seems kinda weird, but it does mean I'm outta news so I'm outta here. Have a great day, Fandom!
