WTFH, Friday, 07/03

Edward: Ah, it's been some time since I've seen where you kept the rum.

*chittering*

Edward: I know, my end of the deal's I read these notes. Won't be a problem now.

*chittering*

Edward: What's that you're signing no-- we'll have Anders?

*chittering*

Anders: I promise, I was on my way, you didn't need to drag me -- you aren't Cassandra.

Edward: Very astute, mate! The squirrels promised me they'd let me see the rum stash if I helped with the notes this time around.

Anders I'm quite perceptive in the mornings. I just -- ah, let me have some of that rum and I'll forget about it.

*drinking noises*

All right. Much better. Almost like there's no chance of an Exalted March on Fandom at all! Er. Classes are on again at school, where Advanced Driver'sEd carried on without me this time around. I'm sure O'Conner was weeping over missing me, but the class bravely carried on enough to practice and then race. And in Sneaking 101, they got to choose between lockpicking or knocking out a guard before Atton had them introduce themselves. And in addition to those undoubtedly educational experiences, we had Cosette in the library, where a ball was bouncing about.

*shuffling*

Anders: That's it for me. Edward?

Edward: All right, my turn it is, then. In town, I was suffering a bit under the temperatures. Caritas saw Ms. Cara suffering the undue attentions of some men who sound like they've a need to learn when they aren't welcome, which sees her winding up in the duck pond. You know - I should've jumped in the duck pond yesterday. Might've cooled me some.

At the diner, there was some trouble with something called a dishwasher. It ended in Mr. Hardison coming to work in his underclothes, which… I suppose there's a time for everything. Mr. Eliot certainly had questions, though. Lottie chose to spend her day at Groovy Toons turning her hair different shades, while Ms. Jessica spoke to someone on her phone about a portal. Hope you're not one of those stranded here, miss. At the Devil's Nest, Mr. Derek looked into arranging a wedding-- I suppose that means congratulations are due to someone around here. Jasper came in for some rapid-fire conversation about everything ranging from therapists to cannibalism, and I won't ask how they got from one to the other.

Mr. Jack volunteered himself to be the Best Man, and offered some thoughts as to what a werewolf wedding would be. I… can't say I've ever heard of any. Sounds like it'd be hirsute. Mr. Barton did take the time to come in for some awkward congratulations, which leads me to assume the 'werewolf wedding' is Mr. Derek's.

Anders: I don't know what a werewolf wedding is either. Under the full moon, perhaps? But I think that's it for us for the day. Is there more rum?

Edward: Always is more rum, so I'm told. *beat* If you're willing to cope with the bottles being a bit small, at least.

Anders: Just means you need to drink more of them. Cheers, Fandom.

Hannibal, listening to the news as he made coffee, smirked. He could think of one way to get from therapists to cannibalism, but perhaps he wouldn't volunteer that information.
