What, again?
*chittering*
Well, why on earth me?
*chittering*!
*snort* Don't give me that "you don't sleep" thing. I listen to this thing. Sleep's never stopped you drafting anyone before. Oh, fine, look, just hold the cards up.
*clearing throat* Hello, everybody, this is Bob. Apparently I'm doing the news now. Such as it is.
In classes yesterday, Creative Inspirations met at the causeway and caught a portal to catch a boat. Hannibal and Jono introduced themselves and discussed how everybody should use their weekly trips to inspire some sort of creativity. Then there were everybody else's introductions, because why be creative with those on the first day? Then they boarded the boat for a sunset cruise -
*CHITTERING*
What, seriously?
...
*sigh* Fine. A "SUNSET CRUISE AT PRETTY RAINBOW-COLOURED NIAGARA FALLS". Was that loud enough? And after, they headed back to the classroom to express themselves creatively, at which point the squirrels got bored and buggered off, because apparently they're only in it for the free boat rides.
There was also an Etiquette class, which I'm sure goes over just swimmingly in a high school. It started off without a teacher, and everybody hung about wondering if they could ditch class, but then Obi-Wan just appeared in the middle of the room with his...whatever "eopies" are...and some sand, looking very confused. Because apparently nobody told him he was teaching. Though the students got to explain it to him. Hopefully using good manners, but given they're high school students, who knows, really.
And the last class of the day, How to Take All the Fun out of the Beach - sorry, Beach Fitness - started off with a 100-meter run in the sand. Oh, joy. And after that, there was cooling off in the water and introductions.
In the offices, Electroclash was catching up on paperwork, and Washington showed up for a nonexistent appointment, which apparently consisted of a lot of snarking.
In the dorms, Cecil was packing to leave, which explains my being bullied into this, and Raven dropped by to say good-bye.
And in town, Kitty was at 25 Unicorn having ice cream, but apparently there were pork rinds in it.
*chittering barfing noises*
Which apparently the squirrels think tastes disgusting. Never having had either ice cream or pork rinds, I'll forego commenting. But the lovely Éponine apparently agrees with them, because she came by, the same thing having happened to her ice cream, and they compared notes of disgust.
And in town, Emma Swan at Wonka's and Jessica at Chilly Boulder also had pork rinds in their ice cream and were sorry about it, while Eliot forbade the staff at Luke's from doing the same thing.
In unrelated-to-pork-rinds news, at the Post Office Hanna was putting up with a singing package, at Stark Industries Tony was discussing legal matters, and Barry was waiting for him to get off the phone. Also, Jessica came by after the pork rinds to talk about probe droids, which the squirrels swear isn't dirty, but honestly, if you have to swear to it, I bet it is.
At Caritas, the beautiful Miss Kenzi was starting early on the Fourth of July thing when Cecil dropped by to tell her he was popping back home for a bit, and they made plans to go to Vegas later.
And at the community center, Psionics class met, where Emma Frost started off by introducing herself and the class, then everybody else had to do introductions.
After that, Emma explained about mutants and her telepathy, and let everybody ask questions. Hannibal asked about the astral plane, and Kathy about knowing if you're a mutant and how powers work, and then Raven volunteered to let Emma control her for a bit. Oh, because that can't end badly.
And speaking of ending, there are no more cards, so I assume we're done?
*chittering*
Fine. Next week, improve your handwriting. Good morning, everyone.
