Fandom Radio, Tuesday, June 16th
Hello, listeners, Cecil here. It's the last week of classes before everything changes, so - well, okay, not everything. But, like, classes. And things. And...who knows? Maybe other stuff, too. But until then, we still have news to do, so let's get to it!
In classes yesterday, International Cuisine went to a Cajun/Creole restaurant in New Orleans. Is that even a real place?
*chittering*
Well, whatever. During the introduction, some people stared at the restaurant and some watched the cemetery across the street, and hopefully they could tell the difference. Then they all ate. And...I think the squirrels are drooling. That's actually a bit disturbing. I'm...just going to get on with it.
Fast.
Bailing 101 got asked the same questions in the last week as in the first, presumably to see if their answers had changed or if they're probably telling the truth. So, "How did changing your schedule work out?", and "When would you bail?" and "Hey, are you gonna watch this movie already?"
And Relax and Recharge had everybody skip class for the final, because ignoring your responsibilities is one way of relaxing. If you can. I mean, because sometimes they just kind of sneak up on you all stealthy and everything, and sometimes maybe you don't want to ignore them because they're important, okay, and if people would just stop saying, "Oh, Cecil, don't worry so much!" then I would -
*CHITTERING*
Oh. Um. *sigh* Okay. Moving on.
In the dorms, Lottie was on the phone with her mom, trying to get her to send her dog and explaining that no, she isn't in Franchia -
*chittering*
Oh. Franch...France. France? That's a place? Must be one of those weird different universe things. She isn't in France. And in town, Ben and Ender had a date night, which apparently involved pasta, ice cream, and separate alone time...and, I think someone needs to explain to these guys what a date is, maybe? Just, you know, so they know.
And elsewhere, Eliot - whatever - had some sort of performance as a country this weekend, and it ended up on the internet, and everybody at Luke's was watching it. And Ronan went swimming. At the beach, which is probably a really good place for it.
And it looks like that's all the notes I have for today. So, everybody have a good week, and let's keep that mortality rate down for finals! And to keep you up to date, here is this week's weather.
