Look, you know, I...oh. Um. Right. HieverybodyCe... *cough* Hello, everybody; Cecil here. Sorry. I just...um. Well, never mind. News! Let's get on with that, okay?
In classes yesterday, International Cuisine went to Ethiopia to eat local foods with their fingers. And there was a coffee ceremony, which the squirrels have underlined and bolded and written three times, but I'm not really sure why? I mean, coffee always is, right?
Bailing 101 talked about hiding from someone you've just met and pissed off - which is a really useful skill! Atton talked about it, then everyone checked out the hiding area, then they played a game the squirrels are calling, and I quote, "HUNT DOWN AND SMAAAAAAAAASH"!
And Relax and Recharge met on the lawn, which had kiddie pools full of water balloons all over. Bond explained what was going on and then soaked Nathan with a water balloon, and then there was an all-out water-balloon fight!
In the dorms, Jasper was eating Chinese in his room and apparently talking to himself and saying he's sorry? And the squirrel on the dorm beat is becoming Concerned - with a capital C - about Jasper, based on his posts, and would like to know if there's an 800 number for him to call? I'm...not sure if that means for Jasper or the squirrel. But if you know of any, just talk into the nearest bush! They're sure to pick it up.
Ringo dropped by and must have also been worried, because she asked if he was okay, but he just wanted to talk about the reunion last week. When she tried to ask questions, he just asked if she had a big sibling. Clarke also dropped by, and after the opera he's totally-no-really writing, they talked about how things are going back home for her.
And later, Ringo coopted the fifth floor common room to watch a team-based AT competition - apparently that's something from her world.
Meanwhile, over in town, Atton was all mopey, so he went to the park and took pazaak cards and a sandwich.
Emma was back to being just named Swan again and was working at Wonka's sampling gummy insects.
Luke's was perfectly normal and not at all decorated for the holiday, but Eliot - ugh - had put some info up for vets. No word on if that's veterans or veterinarians. Knowing him, it could be either. Washington stopped in and pointed out the whole anti-festive thing, and Eliot complained that people just use Memorial Day for tacky sales anyway, which honestly! That's what it's for, Eliot. *huff* Then they argued about how to complain, and Wash asked if Eliot has a problem with soldiers, since he is one. And Parker was there, too, and asked all kinds of questions about food, then actually poked him to just get him to blow up in her face, but it didn't work, so she offered to find people for him to beat up instead. Just don't make him introduce himself! Hmph. But instead she let him pick tomorrow's class.
Also, Kitty was lying on the beach with a book, which sounds pretty dangerous, and Jack was keeping a lose eye on the workmen fixing the floor at the Devil's Nest, which sounds like fun!
And that's all the news, so it all happened and absolutely nothing else at all, and have a great week - the weather should be great!
