Fandom Radio, Friday, March 27th

Well, apparently all the corporeal people are off hugging or whatever, so good morning everybody, this is Bob, coming to you...well, not precisely live...from just outside the library.

I hope you're all keeping well today. Let me bring you up to date. Due to all the goings-on, The Art of BS was cancelled yesterday. So were Art of Self-Defense, Independent Study, and History of Poisons The only thing happening at the school apart from teachers sneaking in to put up cancellation signs and Jones holding office hours which Obi-Wan took her up on, was people hanging out in the library, where Cosette - sweet girl - had stocked up on pastries and coffee and a bunch of us were researching.

After we found out a few more things, we held a town hall meeting to explain what's going on. If you weren't there, you should know that anyone with a cursed object will have to destroy it themselves or they'll die. Once they do, they should recover, but you'll want to bring them to the clinic for help. It'll also depend rather heavily on their mood, hence all the hugging going on. Plus some people are just like that, I think.

Apart from the important things going on, Atton and Karina fought over who was going to have to hug Sparkle. Which I'm sure he'll be thrilled to hear. Bo wondered if using her Succubus-thrall on someone would count as breaking the item for them, and Cara said that at least they'd die happy. Well, I know I would!

Parker wanted answers, but Hardison kept her calm, and then Kathy apologized to her for being mean to Eliot in class, but Parker said it was fine since she and Eliot were both evil at the time.

Jack told Karla that Emma was sick but wouldn't admit it and he was worried. Good lord, this sounds like a soap opera. I just can't decide if it's a good one or not. Karina told Kathy she looked like crap, which was apparently because she'd only recently broken Gaunt's hold over her.

When it came time for questions, Karla asked if we'd figured out how this whole business was affecting the island. We haven't yet; we are still looking into it, though.

After all that, people volunteered to find those who were sick and try to convince them to break whatever it was they'd bought. More on those later, because really, I'm not going over it twice; I should be in there researching!

Over at Needful Things, some of the cursed were still guarding it, and others showed up to try to talk them out of it. Nathan convinced Anders to break his phylactery, then helped him back to his room to rest, Karla tried to get Squall to at least eat something while he watched out for Rinoa, Karina tried to convince Elsa to give up her bracelet, which didn't work but did get her to leave for a little while for food. And Karla tried to talk to Elsa, too.

Elsewhere, Minako checked up on her assigned...Pinkie Pie, explained what was going on, and helped her smash things.

Cassandra woke up in her dorm room after a very long bout of sleep and decided to put her armour on, then Face dropped by to make sure she hadn't bought anything cursed.

In the loft Above Luke's, Hardison and Parker convinced Eliot to destroy the necklace he got; in Dracula's suite at the Arms, Raven convinced him to stop listening to the portrait of his dead wife and smash it, and in Sparkle's dorm room, he was in really bad shape until Karina convinced him to destroy his item, which was some sort of business card.

Later on at the apartment above Luke's, Roland and Stark dropped by to check on Parker and helped her destroy some sort of monkey which may or may not have been cursed. And also carry a lot of things.

And at Hannibal's house, Jono was in terrible condition, but Karla and Hannibal did...something psychic that the squirrels didn't see, and he smashed the vial Gaunt gave him.

Also, Johnny was in his dorm room sick, but not from any of this, just the flu. Honestly, that's news? And Eleanor found Joker in his room, and convinced him to destroy his cursed necklace.

Meanwhile, because of all this, Atticus opened the clinic and brought a ton of different teas. Rapunzel and Raven-the-alumni came to help. Kenzi, Dracula (courtesy of the other Raven), Joker (courtesy of Eleanor), Sparkle (courtesy of Karina), and Eliot (courtesy of Parker and Hardison) all came in as patients.

And I do believe that's it, so if you don't mind, I'm going back to try to find out how to get rid of this fog. Preferably without everyone hugging the island!

"Sparkle'll love it, Bob-person," Karina said absently, listening to radio as she petted Velcro. "It'll make total sense to him."
