Fandom Radio, Monday, February 23
How the hell did the squirrels follow us on this trip? My phone won't work but you do? And I still have to do radio? Seriously? You are so lucky I don't just toss you overboard, I swear.
So Face was in the library, of course, and good luck reading anything off your phone now. Anna loudly announced to her sister that she was kissing boys, which somehow gained her entrance to Elsa's room. And apparently what followed is a conversation that I can only respond to with come out of the closet, cupcake.
Everybody gathered on the causeway for this delightful spring break trip. In today's random gossip, Edward's mad at Isabelle for something or other, but is taking booze as a bribe for forgiveness. Atton and Sparkle hugged it out because they both had weekends that sucked. Hannibal and General Buttercup have a cozy room for two, so if that cabin's a-rocking, don't come a-knocking. And Elsa isn't too happy about going on a boat, which only guarantees she'll be forced into a production of I'm On A Boat at some point.
We end up in Los Angeles, 1978, and I am sure you can hear the utter thrill in my voice. Well, at least somebody's hair will fit right in.
Flick and Isabelle are sharing a room and are all weird with each other. Kitty and Clint are mesmerized by the decor, and I wish my phone would work just so I could take some pictures because it is special. Anders and Nathan are not so thrilled with their room, either, but Johnny is sad about there being no lava lamps, which results in him having to explain what they are to Alana. Similarly, Sparkle has to explain disco to Cassandra. Hey, ladies, want to watch Saturday Night Fever with me some night? That'll give you a good feel for some 70s moves.
*chittering*
Exactly. That's what she said.
Stiles isn't terribly happy about the situation, either.
Apparently there was some sort of fancy dinner that I passed on. Cassandra and Anna talked about power, while Sparkle and Anna had a deep conversation about scallops and the meaning of life. Alana and Anna are not down with the consomme, it seems.
There was also dancing to be had. Ezra and Travis recognized each other from the Spin the Bottle party, and are sad they didn't kiss. I may have made up the sad part. Mara shows her fruity drink off to Ronan, and over by the pool, Atton and Four talk about having weird names. And lurking. Nothing wrong with lurking. It's a time-honored skill.
So it looks like that's it. If you're back on the island, count yourselves lucky you still have modern technology. Everyone else, get your towels ready 'cause it's about to go down. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to try to find a mermaid. No reason.
