Fandom Radio, Thursday, October 30th
Hey, Fandom! Sparkle here, with, like, a sticky note with some squirrel scratch on it. Seriously. I guess the population of the island is still recovering from Homecoming or something. Not that I'd know. All I remember would be doggie costumes and a whole lot of cold cuts.
And wanting to piss on somebody's shoe, I think.
Anyway, let's get this over with, huh? In School news, Atton's Getting By class learned how to hack and rewire stuff, but mostly I just remember hauling around half my weight in handouts for the class. Thor's Heroic Tales class got to experience a shipwreck, along with all the survival lessons that comes with that sort of thing. And then Terrain class was called on account of the teacher being a lion cub. I think it's probably something in the water, honestly.
We were boring enough to keep the squirrels out of the dorms, but in Town, Nathan was reading storybooks out loud in the preserve when Anders wandered by and made jokes about being able to spell names and nicknames and last names, before the conversation turned to family and went all serious. In his apartment, Flash was watching sports teams getting out there and sportsing really hard. And also texting. Probably also about sports. Or Taylor Swift. Or both? I'm not sure. The squirrel ran out of sticky note and this thing is running up along one side of the paper and forming a border now. At the Book Haven, Alana had... loud books? And Vic was doing, like, coffee quality control or something at the Perk when Eliot... something about Folgers crystals and a Balkan prison, and I don't actually care what the conversation was about enough to try to decipher the rest of the sticky note scribble, because real life can't possibly live up to the possibilities that free association has to offer, there.
And that's that. Have a good Thursday, folks. Sparkle out.
