Oookay. Kidnapped by squirrels. That's how I pictured my Thursday morning going, sure. Uh. This thing is on? Okay, I can work with that. Hey there, the five of you who aren't too busy lounging around in some sort of frozen mountain resort thing to listen to this. This is Nick Bartamian, kidnapped by squirrels. And if that sounds pathetic or at all underwhelming, you should try it sometime. They're feisty.
So, it looks like sweet eff-all happened on the island yesterday, so I guess this is going to be the 'living vicariously through squirrel notes' hour with Nikolai. It was the school trip's last day in this place called Rorikstead, which I've never heard of, which meant it was your last chance to sleep in there, like Anders did. Alana and Flick decided to just have a lazy morning in the common room, while other people were put to work fixing some guy's roof and patching up walls. And if lounging or construction work wasn't your thing, apparently there was some good hiking to be done, like Edward and Travis did.
And then, their good Samaritan deeds done or something like that, everyone packed up and shipped off to Riften. In a cart. In which Scott talked to Cosette about whether or not there are werewolves in Skyrim, because of some book he was reading. I'm still trying to figure out where these places are and you guys are speculating about wolf-men. All of these things would have been weird for me two years ago, you know. I'm just saying.
Anyway, Riften. Where they're staying at some place called the Bee and Barb Inn, where they're expected to shit in buckets but the rooms are lavender-scented. No word on whether the common room smells like lavender. Or has a bucket in it. But there were places to explore outside, and to eat, like Kitty and Clint did while speculating on the quality of the items on the menu. I don't know, guys. It is the shit-in-a-bucket-hotel, here.
Fortunately, there are also places to go get drunk, and there's the rest of the city, so maybe you vacationers will find some proper toilets, yet.
And that looks like the last of the paper these rodents have handed to me, so I'm gonna go back home. To the hotel I live in. The one with the indoor plumbing.
Aw yeah, indoor plumbing.
