Fandom Radio- Monday, May 19
Morning, everybody. This is Kitty with your usual Monday news, and I did not forget at all that I had to wake up early, really.
And it looks like everything that was worth reporting today happened in town. Jessica went to work at Stark Industries even though she had a cold- feel better, Jessica!- and Flash was taking an easy day at the gym, and that's about it.
Then there was the giant party at Riley's place, where everyone got to meet up. Riley and Jack Priest got to talking about time displacement and what classes they've taught, Sam and Jack talked about how it's the ones you don't expect that turn out to be the serial killers, which is apparently Allie and- HEY. I've never serial killed anybody in my life. Anyway, I'm sure Jack's conversation with Reno was much nicer to me, since they talked about how they look as girls, or when they turn into meerkats or vampires. People turn into meerkats? That's adorable. Next time it happens, someone take a picture. Jack and Hannibal talked about Hannibal's class and Jono, and Rikku introduced herself to Jack. Riley checked with Sam to make sure everything with the party was good, which got them talking about clowns. I'm so glad there weren't clowns. Sam and Reno talked about the different types of students here and adjusting to small town life, Hannibal and Sam talked about therapy and the dinosaur Hannibal cooked.
...There was dinosaur? Yeah, no, can't, sorry.
Clint checked on how Sam's doing and they talked about all the beer at the party- soooo much beer- and Rikku said hi to Sam, with Reno telling Riley about his world getting destroyed and Riley deciding he'd never survive in jail. Not sure how those two things are related but okay. Reno got a hug from Rikku, Sarah brought some stuff but they talked about him not having imagination and how he hadn't kicked her out yet. Sam and Sarah met and talked about her issues with things from space and what he did before Fandom, Eliot brought more beer and he and Riley talked about Eliot's hard head and Riley needing partners who don't turn down money. Again, not sure how those things are related but in my head that conversation is amazing. Eliot also thanked Jack for the heads up and decided he can handle anything spooky and horrifying, he and Allie talked about weapons before she told him about the vampire thing, and I got to break the news to Eliot that this place can always get weirder.
Apparently Eliot was surprised that Elphaba's green- it happens- but then they started talking about time on the island, Riley had a bunch of questions about the dinosaur Hannibal brought before trying it, and how is your entire childhood not crying? Eliot had questions on where Hannibal got the dinosaur, and I'm guessing the answer is "Savage Land" and still no. Clint and Riley talked about having enough beer to last till the end of the world and how that's a conversation that can seriously happen, and Clint and I had some nonverbal hellos-
*chittering*
-not dirty- and talked about how Riley's not an evil genius and neither am I. So basically I'm not an evil genius or a serial killer. James showed up to grab some booze and speed out, Jono and Riley bonded over video games, Sam and Jono decided that there should be some adult mixers in the future, and Jono and I decided it's good that some of our more... questionable adults haven't gotten their hooks into any of the kids. Good job, kids. Flash and Riley talked about the latter's ability to throw a party correctly, though I think he did pretty good. And Flash and I talked about being good to fight invasions but then I bought up things like changing into a girl and he might've changed his mind there? I geeked out over Riley's gadgets and I got an offer to man the hypothetical command center during an invasion, Allie and Riley bonded over their love of speeding around on things, Kaidan brought more beer and gave Riley a rundown on his biotics, and Josh and Riley decided they're totally young and awesome and it's fine to go to bed at nine. Oh boys. Sam and Josh talked about Josh's classes and group therapy, Riley stopped Elphaba from bolting right away, and Rikku showed up all bouncy. That's how you go to a party.
Aaaand that's it! We talked a lot! Now if you'll excuse me, I have a Danger Shop to go program.
