Fandom Radio- Monday, May 5
Morning, everybody, and hello to all the new people! This is Kitty Pryde with all the news the squirrels felt like giving me. And I have a new day, so if I get anyone thinking it's Wednesday on a Monday morning, I'm so, so sorry.
Not much in school, since... Sunday and all, but Evan was in the library, dealing with a ton of Space Battles books. To be honest I think there might be a literal ton of them out there somewhere. Alana came in to catch up, and they talked about her new job and the people who left, and a friend of Evan's who died. Sorry to hear that.
In the dorms, Edward was figuring out the refridgerator in the fifth floor common room, and then he and Ichabod learned about water from a faucet. If you're new, things like that happen here, it's okay. Celia was able to give Edward a recommendation for cereal and explained plastic to him, and then she taught Ichabod how to make tea and told him about computers, so basically Celia was common room MVP today. Cecil was amazed by how time displaced Edward is, but asked how he likes it and apparently all the food is a good thing. We do have that going for us, yep. Rapunzel was having an easier time on the third floor, managing to make pancakes. She shared them with Elsa, where they got to know each other and Elsa told her about home. And on the second floor, Will chowed down on cheese and crackers and lazed around, because it's Sunday and that's why they were invented.
And in town, Sparkle was at Demon Marcus, hard at work hoarding all the yellow socks to himself. Are there enough yellow socks in existence to hoard? I'm assuming he stopped long enough to help Jalian when she stopped in, and I hope I didn't just butcher that name. Jessica worked on some communicators at Stark Industries, Nathan woke up in the preserve- sweetie, your roommate can't be that bad- and at the gym, Flash was alternating between working and working out, and I got to catch up with him. And then at the Arms after the party I'll get to in a second, Ben couldn't find anything but Space Battles on TV and wanted to know what Ender and Anakin talked about.
And then Anakin ended up throwing an impromptu party on the beach, where people mingled and listened to... music. Pretty sure I can't say what kind of music on radio. What kind of party was this? Cade wasn't happy to see Anakin but wanted to know where the drinks were, whereas Ender checked to make sure there wasn't anything weird with this food delivery before catching up with Anakin. Anakin explained to Riley that he just got a huge food delivery to his office and decided to share, while Riley hoped it's not preparation for anything big and disastrous. DON'T JINX IT. Alana was curious about the music, which Anakin said is played in restaurants. Okay. Jaina and Tahiri hugged and did some catching up, and Jaina and Anakin decided to blame Luke for the food. Hear that everybody? Blame Luke. Tahiri explained to Anakin that she got waylaid before graduation, and then there was general eating, because it's a party and that's what you do.
That's it for yesterday, so now I get to go and try to get ready for class, because I apparently the worst planner and don't need to sleep in at all over the summer. Till next week!
