Fandom Radio, Tuesday, April 8th

Knees are nature's way of saying: you won't get anywhere, if you don't bend a little. Good morning, Fandom; Cecil here. With all the news that a group of tiny rodents with tinier notebooks could bring us.

And either the squirrels have been slacking off, or we need to do more with our lives, listeners.

*annoyed chittering*

Well, I know what you think it is. I'll just reserve judgment.

In classes yesterday, Classic Video Games played Mike Tyson's Punch-Out and punched things, It's all Fun and Games had a movie day, Advanced Criminal Justice got a lecture on the legalities of vigilantism, and Self Expression came up with causes they felt strongly about, then debated them. Because nothing says "school spirit" like screaming in anger at each other! And high-powered weaponry, usually, but this school seems strangely lacking in that.

In the dorms, Jim read a book in the hopes of making himself less annoyed, and then Cade dropped by while blowing off work and asked him out for pizza. Do I sense young love in the air? We can only hope!

Later in the evening, Jessica brought her tablet to the fifth floor common room, where there was more pizza, and also terrible movies. Jim stopped by, and he thought the movie sounded great, though. Then he and Jessica talked about how she'd won queen at a dance again, and about what they plan on doing after graduation.

And in town, Mercy was at Groovy Tunes, being quiet and listening to melancholy music, and Kenzi was at Caritas, serving April-themed drinks. Where I stopped by and she passed me a drink before I showed her this really adorable picture of Foucault with a kilt! And we talked about possible summer workshops for her to teach, which I still say - Evocation. Potentially a very useful class! You never know when you might need to know how to safely summon dark powers. Or safely stop someone else from summoning theirs! You can never be too careful.

Except apparently, everybody is being too careful, because that's all the news there is! Honestly, I think everybody needs to go and do more real living, right? Um, except for the band, because zombies really are not so great at the living part. Oh, or any other vampires or undead hanging around. Sorry; I really didn't mean to sound so living-ist. Just...more metaphorical living, okay?

And before I manage to embarrass myself any more, I'm just going to leave you with the weather.
