Fandom Radio, Thursday, March 27th

-- And tea! Thank you, I haven't had my tea yet today, aren't you all perfectly lovely? Just one question... what does that red light mean?

... Oh! You mean everybody can hear me right n- of course they can. I only just learned how to turn on a radio last week. Well, very well. Good morning, Fandom. This is Elsa, of Arendelle, and apparently no matter how hard the squirrels tried this morning, they couldn't convince the usual Thursday person to leave the dorms. I suppose we can't all be fighters, and there are quite a few things out there that probably wouldn't hesitate to eat you, today. I watched an eerie statue make a Viking warrior vanish into nothingness. Well... I actually missed that part. I'd blinked at the time...

Right, of course, you want me to read these. That's what people do on the radio after all. Sorry, Fandom Island. I'm new at this, but I think I start with School notes? That seems about right. It looks as though Emergency Medical Situations learned a few things about how to treat animal bites, though the notes say they really didn't focus on bears. Unfortunate, all things considered. Rather than teaching Literature, Jess sent her students out to fight. Which, I hope, means that her students were actually fighters. Not everybody here came to the island with a suit of armor, just in case. And there wasn't much Baking actually getting done in Derek and Pinkie's class, as one was a wolf, and the other was a very cheerful girl who directed their students to beat on glitter-filled balloons. It... could be training. Of a sort.

Sholeh had Evan with her when she went to open the library, where researchers gathered again in hopes of uncovering something vital about... any of this at all. Sholeh gave some food to Elizabeth and they made introductions, and Jok-- Jeff checked on her to see how she was doing after yesterday.

Cosette found something in a book about the weather machine and a man who stole it during a plague, and she discussed it more with Sholeh, Hannibal, who was understandably worried about the plague, and Jeff, who made certain it was the same machine that we went to see the other day before telling Sholeh that if plague is involved, he's leaving. I... can't actually blame him for that. I'm not terribly fond of plague, myself. And then, still in the library, Evan responded to Sholeh's nosebleed with... knives for fingers?

I... think that might actually exacerbate the situation, Evan.

Over at the Dorms, Elizabeth was actually outside when that wave came up out of nowhere and shook us all out of bed. Cosette was just about to set out when it struck as well. Hopefully nobody actually got caught in it. I might have stopped it, if I had seen it coming, but I was sleeping right up until after it struck. Emma didn't seem to care much about the wave, though. She spent her day fixing her hair and adjusting her tiara in the mirror. Realistically speaking and from one princess to another, Emma, I don't think the Vikings are terribly concerned about your hair.

Or the dinosaurs.

And then, the last page of notes is about what happened in Town. Kitty went to visit Clint, who was preparing his arrows while wondering if there were any students fighting out there, which there were, of course, and Kitty wondered how one might go about fighting a bear before turning into a... a lion cub?

I don't know if that's simply an island thing, an alternate reality thing, or if she's just legitimately a werelion. The questions this island makes me ask.

*Chittering*

Well, her name is Kitty. Eleanor came to a Groovy Tunes that had a few windows smashed out by any number of the things that were roaming outdoors, and Jeff stopped by to check on her, and they argued about his legs... oh. I. I should have told you, Jeff. I'm sorry, I-

*Chittering*

Very well. Apologies later. At Freedom Arms, Aeryn was standing outside and shooting at any creatures who came near when Jamie passed by, trying to cast a spell and complaining that all he really wanted was some breakfast. Bo stopped by looking for something to kill the flying fish with. Victor was attempting to make some sort of weapon at Stark Industries when some Vikings came in and he found out that he's more than capable of taking care of himself without a weapon at hand. I was at the Magic Box when Amelia stopped by, little dear she is, in her tutu with a weapon in her hand and complimented my armor. Luke's was open, but Kenzi wasn't there, of course. Not with the monsters running around. Allie was killing a mummy in the park after nightfall, where she was joined by Nick, who is not only now female but also apparently went running into the pond in an attempt to... play tag with Allie? I might never understand some of the people around here.

Or the wolves. Derek opened the Devil's Nest in spite of his lack of thumbs, where Jack Priest stopped by to antagonize him while getting a drink, Red offered to try to teach him how to change back into a human, and Jamie changed himself into a chihuahua in order to try to communicate.

Wait, what? It's going to get to the point where I won't know what things on the streets are locals and which ones are invading creatures, isn't it? Fabulous.

But that's all of the notes the squirrels handed me today, so I suppose I can leave, now? I need to make my way back to the library. Perhaps we'll find something useful today, now that Cosette has unravelled another clue. Squirrels, could you all do me a favor and turn this thing o--
