Fandom Radio- Wednesday, March 19
Hello again, Fandom. So, apparently we have a bunch of new people on island unexpectedly, so for all of you, hi, I'm Kitty, and I do Wednesday radio around here, and also, everything is messed up and weird. I'm sure we're working on fixing it.
In school news, The Occult talked about Ouija boards and got to try them out, Handling Your Powers tried an outdoor obstacle course, mostly the stairs in town. I think they are a very big reason why it's hard to be out of shape here. How to Make Friends and Influence People decided to use their lessons for good to try and figure out what's going on here, and Armed and Dangerous waaaas a dance class, because their teacher was a ballet dancer today. I'm so sorry I missed that. For several reasons. Cade and Flick tried to figure out how Bond breathed in his tights- you learn- and then they got to follow arlong wih a dance routine, which I'm sure went great.
In normal news, Riley complained through book edits in his office hours, and more on that later.
In the dorms, there wasn't much aside from Joker being frustrated at not being able to figure out the weirdness, and over in town, everything happened. First, Derek was texting with his family and making lunch and dancing with the dog. I swear to god, that's what my notes say. Stiles came by about scholarship essays and was a little thrown off by all this.
Conversational Lithuanian had Hannibal as a French artist today, so... no Lithuanian. So everyone was confused, and Jack and Hannibal spoke in French but neither the squirrels nor I speak it, and the food was catered. And Hannibal and Jono did a mindshare taste-test. Neat.
Eponine was out delivering the mail instead of being at the post office today, and in the park, Super Grover 2.0 fell out of a portal. Ow. Ron Swanson was at town hall, where his assisant is apparently keeping radio transcripts on her desk. Quinn walked in like she worked there, which I guess she does? Gonna guess she's from a different reality too. Anyway they fough over who runs Fandom, and about America and royalty.
At the Perk, Jim got a drink and started making vacation plans, and I can't blame anyone for that right now. Someone named Denna also came in for a drink, and also some information, which involved him getting hit with a pain stick. Yeah, it's time for vacation, Jim. Dom was at Luke's, Googling Bay, and had Grover coming in for a sandwich and milk. Apparently Grover's a puppet, and Dom had to explain where he was. At the edge of the preserve, Red popped out of a portal and was looking confused, but Derek found her and helped her out.
Evan had to sign for books at Book Haven since Rosalind's still gone, and of course they messed it up. But at least Alana came in for new stuff to read and they got to nerd out. That is awesome. And awesomely normal.
At the Perk, Warren Peace came through a portal and figured out he's in the wrong place, and Momoko spazzed out at seeing him here. In a good way. Dinah seemed mostly normal again and came to see Warren after Momoko called her, but she didn't know why. And one of Jamie's dupes came in to hit on Warren.
And apparently Caritas was the place to be for once, and not just for Tino's bar tricks. Allie came in to report on more weirdness and the people coming through portals. Also, we talked about books. It was a good day for it. Riley gave me a copy of his book to read, yay!, and we talked about how there's no explanation for the stuff going on yet. Sorry. Stiles told me about Derek, and there was more frustration-sharing, and then I had people I know from my reality and/or Fandom coming in to talk about how our universes are different, which is awesome and really weird. Jamie Madrox showed up and told me about the Fandom where he's from, which is ridiculous except for where I'm a freaking sorceress, and Johnny Storm was happy to see me because we're friends in his world, where everyhing is terrible. Sorry, Johnny. Jamie was drunk by the time he found Johnny and they caught up on attempts to get back to their Fandom before hatching some kind of plan. I'm intrigued.
Buuut I don't have other notes on that so that's it for me. Hopefully today will be more normal. I mean, it won't be, but we can dream.
