Fandom Radio, Tuesday, March 18th

If a tree falls in the forest, and there's nobody there to hear it, does it suffer an existential crisis?

Welcome to Fandom, listeners. Cecil here, with all the gossip that little furry creatures have decided is worthy of being called news. The squirrels seem...kind of anxious to get me out of here today. Not sure what that's about, but whatever.

At school yesterday, Classic Video Games played Doom. I thought we all were already playing that, just by living. So I'm guessing it's some sort of simulation game. Like that one where you build beautiful houses and then try to kill people in as many ways as possible.

Meanwhile, It's All Fun and Games had Jack - the female one, but with a different tattoo - teach them fencing, Advanced Criminal Justice had a stylish retro Batman teach them how to stay by a phone to call for help, which I guess could be useful if your phone gets possessed. Or repossessed. And Self Expression tried to learn how to reply to internet comments without being a jerk, which I'm pretty sure is impossible, actually.

And Paige held office hours again, in her cold office - ugh, I hear you!

In the dorms, Will got a message from a friend on his tablet and Abby McCall got a call from her mom and then had to rush so she wouldn't be late to class.

Most of the action yesterday seems to have been in town, though.

Stiles woke up on the couch in the mansion with a bloody nose. Derek was pretty concerned about that and helped him stop it, even though Stiles didn't want help. Then Stiles asked about last night. Um. Just a suggestion, Stiles - never ask that. If you can't remember, don't let on! Some people really take that as an insult.

Jack showed up, too, and asked Stiles if he stopped being a werewolf overnight, which...apparently he did!

In the park early this morning, there was strange music again, which turned into a rift and dropped off a girl, Elizabeth. She was appropriately wary when Zoe came up to see if she was okay. Elizabeth then explained that she had been on the island for several months, but that she remembered it being warmer. Oh, don't we wish!

At Freedom Arms, Ron opened up the place and settled in to carve an eagle out of wood. Aeryn came by looking for a pulse rifle, but Ron only carries American-made weapons, so she settled for a regular gun and a job.

Dinah met Sheba for ice cream at Chilly Boulder, and asked her if it was ethical to check in on someone as a social worker. Which I sort of thought was what a social worker did, but what do I know?

Never mind; it'd take too long to say everything I know, and too depressing to say all the things I don't know, so we'll save that for later.

Anyway, they were talking about whether Sparks could handle taking care of Amelia - which I'm sure he can! He's a great guy. And then they changed into other people entirely. The squirrels' notes say "POOF", but I'm not sure if that's a sound effect, a visual approximation, or just an indicator of suddenness, and the squirrels aren't coming near me today - oh, honestly! - so I can't ask.

At Stark Industries, Cade was whistling to keep himself entertained as he worked.

At the Perk, another rift opened up and spit out a man named Jamie Madrox. Allie was there, and told him that he was in the Perk, but he had a hard time believing both that he was on the island and that it wasn't run by the Lannisters. Whoever they are.

Johnny Storm also stopped by, and was pretty surprised to find Jamie there. They talked about the portals, and then Jamie passed the word on to Johnny that, surprise! They were both actually on the island.

And at Caritas, Kenzi was practicing her ballet moves. All fea- now, I'm not going to say that! Kenzi is really good! Kenzi, ignore the squirrels. Like I said at the time, you're really good. And Bruce Wayne stopped by, too, and complimented her on how flexible she was. So there.

So, listeners - including all the new names I noticed in there - I hope you're all having a good day, I hope you're working on your warm thoughts and denial of the winter, I advise you to watch out for these portals so you don't end up having someone fall on top of you, and I leave you with the weather.
