Fandom Radio, Tuesday, February 3rd

Good morning, Fandom; Cecil here. The squirrels have been diligently digging up all the news - well, not literally. At least in most cases. And now I'm here to bring it to you!

We'll start atthe school, where Classic Video Games played PacMan, and in honor of the Superb Owl, It's All Fun and Games played Madden NFL 11. I'm...not sure if Madden is an owl or not, or what the relevance is...?

*chittering*

Oh, thanks! The squirrels say Madden is an owl, so at least that's that cleared up.

Meanwhile, Advanced Criminal Justice had students talking to each other in the guise of finding allies, and Self-Expression had us talking to each other in the form of speeches.

Paige had office hours today, and came in to check for things from her home. Which seems a little inefficient, but who am I to judge? I'm just the radio announcer.

Over in thedorms, Jim was in his room, trying to find the voice of whoever was calling him "girlie", and Sparkle walked into a past production of Fandom Chicken - oh, is that what that was? I wondered! - in the 2nd floor common room. He took notes for future reference, although if this thing keeps going, we may not need them. And the squirrels' note here says, "FANDOM CHICKEN" in all caps, and then has a bunch of less-than-threes after it.

*chittering and cheering*

Well, in that case, I hope I get to see more of it!

Flick and Sparkle talked about what might be going on, and Sparkle wondered why people aren't doing anything about this. Although I'm not sure what we would do, really. Then they get to talking about therapy and juvie.

I wondered if the thing was a shared hallucination, which I still think is a viable explanation, and then finally remembered to remind Sparkle about that movie night we planned ages ago, which we definitely have to do somewhere Kenzi can come!

In town, Cade was at Stark Industries repairing a coffee machine, using a blaster. Which the squirrels think is "a totally sound way to go about home repairs". Well, I suppose it depends on what you're repairing.

At Groovy Tunes, Mercy was listening to calming instrumental music. At the Perk, Will came in all soaked - and probably freezing! - from the rain, and the barista stared at him for a while, then hurried into the back room in a panic for some reason. Maybe she left the stove on.

And over at the Devil's Nest, Jack was organizing the liquor shelves. So at least someone was being productive. And -

All right. News done. So, let's talk about the date. Carlos and I met up in Old Town. I was wearing my best tunic and furry pants, and he had on a laid-back weekend lab coat.
Oh, my god. I'm...really very sorry, listeners. Apparently that whole "past sounds" thing is happening again. But the news is done, so -

We were both beautiful in the late afternoon sunlight, each other's dreams met in a real world moment.

*squirrely laughter*

Can we just cut the feed, please??
