Fandom Radio- Wednesday, January 15
Morning, everyone! This is Kitty Pryde here on a brand new day, the morning after I worked a late shift at a bar. This is going to make for a lot of tired Wednesdays this semester, I'm thinking.
Anyway, let's start with school, where the Occult class talked about how astrology might not be completely fake, and everyone got to see if their horoscopes were accurate. Sholeh wondered what happens if you weren't born on Earth, and apparently the answer is "Who knows?" Does kind of make it hard to tell whether you're really a Scorpio or whatever, I guess. Handling Your Powers had Kaidan sharing some personal experience and letting others do the same, and then they practiced movement and meditation. How to Make Friends and Influence People, which I think based on title alone should crossover with Friendship!!! class, ran a simulation on hostage negotiation. And finally in Armed and Dangerous, everyone paired up to learn a fighting skill from someone new.
In the library, William had some kind of incident with new-old shelves...? Okay. And in his office, Riley got to deal with a bout of writer's block.
In the dorms, Will was in his room making lists. Going to assume he also checked it twice.
And over in town, Eponine had a ton of late packages to deal with at the post office suddenly, and Kenzi came in asking about hearing weird voices and heard about Eponine meeting Cosette. Sam LaCroix headed to the Perk while he's in town for some coffee and awkward catching up with Natalie,
Mary got back to the Arms to find complaints about a noisy empty room, and okay, I'm starting to feel bad for writing Tino off to make posters at Caritas. But to be fair, it's Tino. There was like a fifty-fifty shot of him actually making it up.
Then there was the community center class where a surprising number of people take Conversational Lithuanian. No offense, just didn't see that coming. They listened to a lecture and ate some food, and Hannibal told Jono he could be a psychic taste tester. Kenzi and Hannibal traded immigration stories, Derek stopped to talk to Hannibal about a thing while Atticus came to introduce himself, and Kenzi decided to introduce herself to him.
All right, that's what I've got. Remember, party Sunday at Caritas, and I'm going to keep repeating that because it's absolutely no fun when no one shows up. So... do that. Bye.
