Fandom Radio, Sunday, June 16th

Hello. This is Phil Coulson, reporting on WTFH. It seems Miss Drew is unavailable to broadcast today since she is in a moderately altered state at the moment. Or, if you choose to look at it from her perspective, she hasn't worked here in 20 years and I haven't aged a day. I'll try not to claim that one of those perspectives is correct over the other, but I would like to point out that I am not a vampire. And that is clearly not something a vampire would say in today's pro-vampire climate.

And now, the news.

As you might expect, there weren't any school activities today aside from the reunion. This is because there are at best a handful of students still around, and they are being quiet. I'll leave you to draw your own conclusions about this.

We'll start with the campground, where Zahar was pleasantly surprised to wake up in a the penguin bouncy castle.

Envy wasn't as happy, but just as surprised to find herself at the Camelot bouncy castle. Jessica was surprised, too, but in more of a complainy way. Cade wanted to shoot the castles, which Envy discouraged. They both wanted coffee, which neither could get easily at the campground. Cade and Jessica tried to guess how many of his relatives might end up at the reunion while Gert encouraged the castle-shooting with the suggestion that he should then run.

Gert didn't appreciate Jessica's relative chipperness at that time in the morning, while Envy reassured Gert that the island just did things like make people wake up in bouncy castles sometimes. Peter and Envy bonded over becoming successful, while Jessica gave Peter a hard time about living in a castle that wasn't bouncy. Sia and Envy reminisced about Fandom, and then Jessica suggested that Sia might have inhaled too many bounce castle plastic fumes and was hallucinating this whole thing. Sounds reasonable.

And before we move on to the extensive notes from the reunion, let's look at town in general.

Ben and Ender woke up in their hotel room to a pleasant, restful morning. It wasn't so restful for Sparkle and Alec, who weren't even a couple right now. Elsewhere in the hotel, Naomi called home before getting a message from Billy. And Cara flirted with Surreal upon waking up before trying to figure out a plan for the weekend.

Jack made breakfast at his house, while Kaidan - and I have a special note here telling me to pronounce that with an 'a' - was a little surprised to be there. But that didn't stop him from catching up with Jack. Emma told Kaidan about the triplets she and Jack had before demanding coffee from Jack and discussing their plans for the evening.

Stiles and Derek also woke up in a house they hadn't lived in for a long time, where they discovered that their puppy was still alive. Mike was surprised that Derek had aged since he hadn't, which in turn surprised Stiles.

Kitty and Clint were in her apartment and decided to enjoy some time off from their daughter and hero jobs. Leda was on the swings in the Park, where she told Momoko about her new school. Elsewhere in the park, Topher was on a phone call for work when Billy showed up, happy to see Topher taking time off. Kenzi also showed up, telling Topher about the foster home she's running in town. Speaking of which, Kenzi made her way to Efferton Manor, which was not currently a foster home. She called Bo and realized that something strange was happening.

An entity calling itself Michael resided in Dean Winchester's body at Luke's, where the specials were coded toward Michael's true nature. Michael didn't seem pleased, considering how many sighs escaped from Mr Winchester's body. As you might expect from the way things go, this meant that several people who are acquainted with Dean made a special point to come in for breakfast, completely by chance.

Kaidan was the first guest in the diner. Michael explained the how he was residing in Dean's meat-suit (my words, not his), leading threats from Kaidan which Michael was unconcerned about. Lucifer, presumably the Morning Star himself, arrived in the body of Sam Winchester. After some brotherly bickering, Lucifer failed to convince Michael to join him in rebooting the world. Family, am I right?

It wasn't until Bay stopped in and mistook Michael for the person whose body he's occupying - an understandable mistake - before Michael fully realized that there was a reunion happening. I would suggest that he still doesn't have all the proper information, but I said I wouldn't be doing that.

When Priestly came downstairs, he was very unhappy to discover the current situation, especially when Michael refused to let Dean speak. He had a distraction in the form of Dinah, though, who reminded Priestly of a trip he owed her and gave an update on someone named Sin, which seems appropriate considering who else was in the diner. For the record, she only ordered food from Michael.

Over at the Boards, Jono played music while charging up some power packs before Envy came in to catch up and have an impromptu jam session.

At Everything But the Monkey, April delivered a petition about the quality of care provided to dogs in the store, after which Jono caught up with her. She tried to get him to adopt a dog, he got her to talk about his godchild.

Mary was surprised to find that she was roughly twenty years younger, relative to the current ages of her staff at the Arms Hotel, where Kenzi requested a room for herself and Toby.

Bo had apparently not aged a day at the Devil's Nest, while the DJ was flashing back to the 90s. Michael - still in Dean's body - came in for conversation. But Bo was unable to figure out exactly who he was and recommending Caritas, which sounded strange to him on the basis of karaoke. Jaye also chose to hassle Michael about how he looks like far too many other people, all while missing the fact that he is an entity from another realm in possession of someone's body. Tsk. Jaye's request for a beer turned into a discussion between Bo and herself of terrible decisions in the 90s, which I will now win with the words 'I had a mullet.'

And that brings us to the Reunion Mixer. Somewhat predictably, people had multiple chances to interact. There was a table for name badges, an open dance floor, an even more open bar, and the traditional darkened corners.

By the nametags, Kenzi asked Jono for a job for a kid in need.

The dance floor seemed to be a chance for Mystique to shine, as she was watched by Genesis and Cade, only the latter of whom approached her to flirt.

By the open bar, Bay approached Gert to catch up and Peter proved popular. Not only did Kenzi ask about his kids and if she could steal anything for him, but Topher admitted fear of his wife and Cade had a small family reunion.

Clint found Stiles at the bar and proceeded to question him about how happy he is with his current relationship. Kitty was less pushy about Stiles and Derek, while she and Stiles correctly reasoned that there was some timeline magic happening this weekend. Topher and Stiles discussed their significant others despite how awkward both of them were as teenagers. And Cade assumed that Derek's method of flirting via dead animals finally won Stiles over.

April and Emma started a shot contest after talking about their respective kids, which was also a topic for Emma and Dinah.

Kaidan was taking advantage of the free food when Jaina approached. They discussed their current situations and how well they were going. Kaidan also took some time to remind Allie that she was welcome to join him in Canada.

Clint walked over to Envy to check in and get a picture of her for his daughter. Momoko approached Dinah to talk about their children. Jaime also discussed his children with Dinah, but mostly because he managed to get a babysitter, which allowed him to be here.

Priestly gave Momoko a hug and asked about her children before Jaime stopped by to comment that Priestly looked different. And Kenzi... well, she told Priestly about several levels of weirdness going on, which would have been simplified if she hd listened to this radio broadcast first.

While Momoko ate, Jono approached and were surprised that things seemed to be going fairly well at the moment. She also tried to convince Robin the Frog to settle down and marry his girlfriend and took part in a guessing game to see who was kissing her shoulder. It was Jaime. Presumably she was okay with this.

Billy was looking for familiar faces when Momoko showed up to tell him that their children are roommates. Percy and Luke settled in by the food and complained about their son. It should be noted that they later suggested that they loved him.

Jim made something of a splash with his uniform. He and Gert ended up discussing their jobs with space exploration and superheroing, respectively. Jessica and Jim taunted each other briefly before talking about her job with SHIELD and whether or not she was always serious, leading to a kiss. And finally, Bay came over, leading to flirting and talk of her work at an art gallery.

We are nearing the end of the reunion now. We'll be done soon, I promise.

Derek hid in a shadowy corner, but not very well. Stiles was slightly drunk and also a bit handsy with Derek, which eventually led to plans to defile the coat check room. So if you had a coat last night, you may want to wash it. Pinkie wanted Derek to come back and help her teach, which Kitty encouraged. And Jack told Derek about his children before Derek revealed that his father-in-law was pushing for grandchildren.

Maddie and Jessica talked about work, while Topher found Jessica to call her old and ask about their child. Allie and Kitty caught up about their jobs and families. And there was a lot of confusion and surprise revelations when Genesis and Zahar caught each other.

Sam and Envy had a not quite happy reunion while Allie and Jack caught up.

After the mixer, a group from the reunion rented out the astronomy suite at the hotel to reminisce about the old days with alcohol. Victor and Tony caught up while Topher promised the drinking wouldn't get too bad since Tony was on the wagon. Billy hassled Tony a little about, well, being Tony Stark. Victor played bartender and surprised Topher by being married. Topher was presumably being facetious when he claimed that Ben might marry ice cream, and then Ben and Tony caught up and hugged, not necessarily in that order.

At long last, that's the end of my notes. Hopefully none of you does anything you'll regret either tomorrow or in twenty years. Goodbye.
