Fandom Radio, Wednesday, April 17th
Good morning, everyone. This is Clint Barton and I'm very glad to be back here. Lesson of the week: don't ever take your hot showers for granted. Now, let's see what everyone got up to yesterday.
Up at the school, the Public Speaking class had to do some improvisational speaking, and then everyone who didn't get to be a press secretary yet got to answer questions like which one of them would win in a slapfight. Having met a lot more students now, that could probably be any one of them. In There Will Be Cake, the students learned how to make drinks - using the non-alcoholic versions, this says - and in Industrial Arts, the students put finishing touches on their battlebots to prepare for next week's final battle.
...oh, hey, note to self, I should be better prepared for finals week.
Electroclash was also in her office, in case anyone wanted to talk about what happened to them last week. She told Emily that repressing things like getting kidnapped by some unknown bad guy is the way to go around here, and wasn't as annoyed as Maddie that we never managed to catch the guy. Oh good, I'm not the only one bothered by that, that's good to know.
In the dorms, the Lacrosse Club accidentally had a chick-flick-movie viewing afternoon instead of the sports movie marathon they had planned, and in the salle, Alec took his feelings out on the practice dummies with a sword. That's a good way to vent, seriously.
Over in town, Stiles had an awkward call with his dad to let him know he was all right after being away for a week, and Jono made some tea for himself and Raven before they settled in and talked about last week. Emily had her first day of work at Portalocity, and was reading up on what to do, Mary had chocolate chip cookies in the lobby at the Arms Hotel, and Eponine was in a good mood at the Post Office, even after having to clean up thousands of marbles. Sounds like she's a better person than me. Victor had bunches of citrus to clean up at Stark Industries, and Kaidan had some therapy steak at Outback, where he was joined by Jack. They talked about all the rooms designed to mess people up, and how the worst ones were the ones without monsters, which I kind of have to agree with. At the Perk, Jono was doing some people-watching. Victor and Jono checked in with each other, both glad to see people out and about. Liara complained to Jono that getting kidnapped interrupted a date she was going to go on, and Raven and Jono made plans to get together and talk, and other plans to go to someplace called Glacia in the summer. And speaking of traveling, Kitty was checking out Trip Advisor at Caritas, because I think it's safe to say that a vacation from this place is needed. No offense.
Uh, that's all the squirrels handed me, so I think I'm free. Stay safe, everyone.
