Fandom Radio, Wednesday, April 3rd
Hey everyone. Unless you're very lucky, you probably know something's up right now, and I've got a very beautiful girl back at my place to help me with it, so let's just get this over with, shall we?
At the school, the Public Speaking class learned how to navigate through a flame war in a comments section, and Press Secretary Gertrude got to answer questions about the danger zone and how fit the president is. At least that last one is about something true. I mean... anyway, the Industrial Arts had a chance to show off what they've been working on and test drive their battlebots, which gave Mercy a chance to check out Cade, which was not at all awkward to read I assure you. And in There Will Be Cake, the students watched a movie about a woman with a passion for cooking which, I'm sure, was helpful to the current situation.
Over at the dorms--oh god, of course you all were busy. I don't think I want to know this stuff, yet here I go. Cade and Stiles woke up to the sound of a dead duck hitting their window, which apparently had bite marks and might have been related to the window Cheetos that Stiles received and hopefully didn't eat because that would be dangerous. Luke tried to deal with his pent up energy by killing things in video games, but then Percy came over and you know how the rest of this note probably goes so that means I don't have to be weird and say it, right? Right. Emily was cursing Fandom under her breath in her room--you can do it out loud, you know, I think everyone will be sympathetic at the moment--and Minako glittered up the lobby while selling tickets for prom. If this crap is still going on when it's time for prom, you all had better protect yourselves. I don't know a lot about high school, but even I know how proms work.
The lacrosse club worked out in the dorm's gym, and by "working out" I mean they all shared a locker room and poor Korra got flustered by Jackson, and up on the roof of the dorms--wait, I have to read about Loki? Really? [microphone feedback] All right, fine, he was up on the roof Googling things on his phone like a troll and then Jessica found him and apparently after Loki agreed that he's an internet troll, she decided to kiss him. Jessica, no, do not let the weird stuff make you do things you'll regret. Gertrude tried to convince Loki to make a snowstorm over the East Coast to cool everyone off, but they ended up trying to convince each other to lose clothes instead--Gertrude, no!--and then Jessica and Gertrude got to talking about the heat and... okay, the good news is, these notes aren't going to the horrible threesome place I feared they were going, but the bad news is, that's because Maddie showed up and Loki convinced her to go back to his room with him. There's not enough no in the world for that, Maddie. I can't...
Okay, here are the town notes, thank god. Éponine tried to read a book at the post office, but it was a romance novel so it didn't help. Derek and Jack Priest went for a run through town which started out shirtless and ended up with the two of them chasing each other and Derek yanking off Jack's pants, and it's moments like this where I really feel like I'm not getting paid enough for this. At all. In notes that don't sound like porn synopses, Zee greeted Jack, hopefully while he still had pants on, and explained that she'd heard about him from a friend of hers. Maddie ogled Jack and Derek, which only makes half sense because Jack, yes, but Derek? No. And Evan was walking his dog and was helpfully warned by Zee to keep his eyes up and watch out for the shirtless wonders. Now that's a good friend.
In the park, Allie was running through sword katas in the early morning until she saw Kaidan running, and she offered him a spot on her couch which he turned down because he's apparently very strong. Or possibly unfazed by whatever's going on, which is still impressive. In the evening, Navaan was skinny-dipping in the park's pond when Jack Priest saw her and... yeah, we all know where that went. At Caritas, Kitty tried to get Tino to take down the dirty-themed drink specials while Stiles told her about his dead duck gift and the tasty Cheetos--Stiles, no!--and Jessica came in, looked around, and then walked right back out. Hopefully not to Loki's room. I'm just saying.
Thankfully there aren't any more notes here because I've officially hit my limit on talking about this stuff. Have a good week, but not too good of a week, and for god's sake, be safe.
