Radio Broadcast for Dec 16
This is the Hero of the Spaceways, Han Solo, coming to you from the Crow's Nest to catch you up on all the latest at Fandom High. Ready to lift!
*sound of engine cranking up*
Our First Port of Call is the classrooms. We’re navigating the mine field those sadists on the faculty are pleased to call Finals Week.
Journalism’s final projects were due today. Guess this time it’s for all the money. Today’s Spider’s last day too.
Ethics class talked about fairy tales. It’s Tara’s last day too. I’ll miss you, Miss McClay. You’ve been a big help.
Chaucer had office hours.
So did Principal Bristow.
Celtic Lit turned in Tain Bo summaries, and we have a final Monday. Who gives finals on Monday?
The Physics final was one stang of a test.
Speech has to do their final project, interview either Principal Bristow or Mayor Red. Good luck. You’re gonna need it.
Gardening and Physical Geography had their final exams. Hope you folks did all right with ‘em.
That's all the system hopping for tonight.
Meanwhile, Back in the Crew Quarters:
Our first stop is the Medikit. So was Crane and Grissom's.
Beka needs someone to interview.
Secret Santa deliveries and Kiki says get on the ball if you hahven't sent two gifts yet.
Paige wants us. Of course, you do, doll. Oh, to be in her experiment. There are prizes for this.
In the lounge Cam is studying until Vala comes distract him. Cam, pal, first the test, then the distraction. And the lovely Vala is quite the distraction.
Angel gets lots of flowers. How do you rate, man?
After that NooooOOOOOoooo Mac owes Anakin some serious royalties.
There's a poster up for a Solstice Bonfire
Lana's been a busy lady today: leaving presents for Death, has some comapny and drags Shep caroling.
Lee and Harkness have cake, until Aeryn kills it. After that, typical of Lee, he's sad and tidy.
In 231, Sam, Janet and John are cheerful. Oh goodie.
Veronica says good-bye to Rogue. So long, pretty Rogue. We'll miss you
Today is Angela and Marty's , so why's she spending it with Six
In the Crew's Lounge the Investigator's club meets to discuss applications, the crazy doll lady. I don't much care about her, I just want my boy to stop waking up from nightmares about the dolls. They make introductions and talk about keeping Angel's soul in place with chastity belts or shock collars. Kinky. And Zero wants to dissect a gremlin.
Professers Tick and Calendar are the advisers to this motley crew.
Out in port:
Jarod makes snowflakes at the Fourth Sin. Look, pal, if you need to know what to do over there, just ask. I'm pretty sure it doesn't have much to do with paper and scissors.
Veronica and Logan Echolls hang out at Caritas
Christmas carolling:
The Cat and Inara, Lana, Maia and Shep and Me 'n Chewie. Darn cold, but a lot of fun. If you weren't along, you missed out.
The carollers perform at Phale's, get wassail at Red's. Deb had cookies and cocoa for us.
Lorne gets flowers from Veronica.
Spider, Tara, the Doctor, and Geoff get Santa deliveries.
Lana (who's looking for a bed in a bag) and Marty (who wants craft supplies) stop by the Emporium.
Red is in the Mayor's office, and Allie interviewed him.
That's all they sent across my comm board folks.
Until next time, this is the Hero of the Spaceways saying "Clear Skies and Happy Landings."
