Fandom Radio, Wednesday, January 16th

So, this is gonna be a regular thing, huh? Well, I've had worse jobs, and I've been paid less than hot coffee, so I guess I can't complain.

All right, let's see what I can decipher today. At the school, the There Will Be Cake class made biscuits - the "cookies, but your teacher's British" kind, not the southern kind, although boy could I go for one of those right now - and Kate got to class a little early to apologize to Bond for missing class last week due to some kind of locker problem. The Industrial Arts students got to play with wood--well, first they had to check out the tools to make sure they could use them safely, and Topher got Ace to make sure he knew how to not saw any of his fingers off. Then they got to working and continued partnering up for robot-building. In Public Speaking, Josh made the students talk wisely about a topic they may or may not have known anything about, and press secretary of the week Peter Wiggin got to answer his classmates' ridiculous questions. Oh, and Kate also apologized to Josh for missing class due to her locker thing, and I'm just glad that got resolved before my class. For her sake, I mean.

Anyway, in the dorms, Sholeh went by Sparkle and Ulrik's room with cookies, and Gertrude spent the afternoon petting her dinosaur - which, again, is an actual dinosaur and not a euphemism for something we should never get a note about students doing, squirrels - and got a visit from Karolina, who she knows from home but who isn't the same one she knows from home, in that weird timeline way. I still don't know how you all manage to adjust to that so quickly.

In the second floor common room, Po was watching an infomercial for a pillow and getting confused about how sleeping could be hard. Oh, wait until he finds out about Snuggies. Bay came in to raid the fridge, and ended up making some sandwiches for Po as well while they talked about where they came from, and about Po teaching Bay how to fight. Jim and Po agreed that people who can't work pillows are stupid, and then discussed Po's reputation. Does he already have one? Isn't he new? Jim also tried to convince Bay that he was a farmboy from the future, but it didn't work, Toby and Natalie complained enough that "pillow" is starting to look like it's not a real word, and Kate finally freed Po from infomercial hell by teaching him how to use the remote, which then kind of blew his mind with how many channels there are. Maybe that wasn't so helpful after all.

In town, Mary was trying to keep one of her employees from gambling at the Arms Hotel, and if anyone was sick, you probably should have gone by Cafe Luke's since all the drinks were cold medicine. But was it good tasting cold medicine, is the question. At Stark Industries, it was apparently raining chocolate-covered cherries - this town, I swear - and Topher came by with coffee, but then figured that, with the weather, ice cream would be better. Can't argue with that. At Caritas, the prettiest girl in town had to deal with the zombies playing elevator music, which is just mean. Josh talked to Kitty about how the band wasn't that bad, and about what he teaches, and Jane was surprised to see that yes, the zombies she was told about are real. Always assume what you hear is real, no matter how much it sounds like hazing.

And that's all I've got here, so I guess I'm done. Have a good week guys.

Wow, was Kitty ever going to get spoiled if the weekly compliments kept up on radio. But hey, she got called pretty to the whole island. Day made!
