Loki: This is not the day you normally demand my presence, squirrels.
Alex: How observant of you. It is, in fact, Saturday, day of sleeping until one. Why am I awake? Besides squirrels.
Loki: ...are squirrels not reason enough? For I will not share my latte.
Alex: I gotta get the squirrels to let me stop and get coffee. Dammit.
Loki: You may have a donut, though. I am not completely heartless.
Alex: Do any of you squirrels want to test this doughnut for poison for me? No. Eh, I’ll risk it.
Loki: They're filled with the jellies of a fruit grown only upon the base of Yggdrasil. Or raspberries. Possibly just raspberries.
Alex: Tastes like raspberries.
Loki: We have classes once again! With Fandom Invasions alerting the less than prepared to the fact that this island is prone to being attacked. Not as much as New York, but it is close, I believe. They made their usual introductions as well. Sex Ed with Captain America and... mine brother. Oh. Oh, dear. People were also granted their introductions there as well. Improving Your Skills featured much gawking at Barton's arms. I fail to see the appeal. Everyoe introduced themselves and said what they are good at.
Oh! and in the Library, Shira met te new librarian.
Alex: In the dorms, Stiles was in the third floor common room watching a movie about an irradiated bear and snarking about it with Tony, who told him about the time he got drunk and bought a penguin sanctuary, which is far from the worst thing Tony Stark has ever done while drunk. Tony and Bay recognized each other from Sex Ed, and Tony was all braggy at her about owning a business and being a supergenius, which enthralled Bay not as much as Tony probably hoped. Gert came up from downstairs, and Stiles asked if he could send a picture of her dinosaur to a werewolf. Gert and a dinosaur? Why does that sound familiar? Tony gave Gert a nickname and talked to her about some Syfy movie about dinosaurs and robots fighting, and then somehow they wound up talking about SHIELD, Iunno. Bay asked about some old lace and told Gert about a letter she got from Frida Kahlo, who I guess is some friend of hers from home or whatever? Bay and Stiles talked about how their names aren't normal, which, stick around, you'll find someone with a weirder one. And I thought Stiles was a nickname anyway? Bay and Emily decided the TV could be worse, because they're new and have no idea how much worse, and Emily didn't know people watched bad movies for fun, because I guess she lives under a rock or comes from a really boring place or something. Or maybe she spends all her time working out, because that's what she talked about with Stiles. Or partying, because she talked about that with Tony, who had to break it to her that this isn't really a party island.
Loki: In town, Jack celebrated an anniversary of Wendy the Werewolf Stalker and movies with Kaidan. Did they not make a movie of that show? Hope was busy reading a magazine at Turtle and Canary. Emily was at the beach to engage in the Midgardian sport of frostbite, Alec looked into bows at Wellspring arms. I do not think a bow and arrow the best weapon to use. A hammer is superior.
Alex: I prefer a sword, myself.
Loki: Perhaps a spear?
Alex: Any of the stabby implements.
Loki:The stabbiest! At the Perk, April was on her computer, registering for college classes. She attempted to trick Jono into picking classes for her, and when that failed, she attempted to make him join her. But it is online. At the Devil's Nest, Allie was blessed with the music of the Spice Girls. Alice informed her that it did not sound like appropriate music for a place with the name of The Devil's Nest. Perhaps she has not yet met a lord of the pits?
Alex: Well, if she sticks around here long enough maybe that’ll change.
Loki: We can only hope Mephisto sticks to his own little realm.
Alex: What about that pink lady with the horns, what happened to her? I bet she was a Spice Girls kind of demon.
Loki: She did seem the type... No matter! That is all the news we have for you, dearest Fandom.
Alex: Which means we can go get coffee! Coffee...we’ll see you next week! Or whenever the hell the squirrels drag us back in here!
