WTFH Radio, Saturday, November 17
"Good morning, Fandom. It took me like, two minutes to get here with a stop along the way. That's....um. That's not a lot of seconds, and a really small portion of an hour, and an even smaller portion of a whole day!
...huh. I'm not usually this dumb about math. Weird. Whatever, kids, I have super-speed, but I'll be nice and slow down for you for radio.
School
In Astro Scienes, they explored a planet called Eden Prime, which sounds like a good place just based on the name! Meanwhile, Living on the Outskirts talked about asking for help, like how Mercy asked Cade about tattoos. I'm not sure she was asking for help per se but I'm sticking with that. Yeul assured Jono it was a good lesson even though we people of Fandom are all independent and don't like asking for help. Art of the Heist has no class next week, but gets a research project.
And in club news, Student Council met to talk about Thanksgiving, where Loki told Karla to stay away from the kitchen. And at Apathy Club, Jeremy pondered doing something, and Sparkle thinks maybe laser tag.
No one was in the dorms yesterday, I guess, so we'll skip right along to town!
Where Mike and Derek were moving all the furniture. They decided to get the heavy stuff out of the way first, while April offered to help in exchange for food and beer, and Derek got into a staring contest with her. Kitty helped out after reminding Mike that there were people he could call to do this, and told Derek that she wasn't going to help unless he was nice to her. Good luck with that. And Laurie told her that she brought liquid snacks. Stiles decided helping looked like work, and talked to Mike about those Dusk reenactments, and Derek threatened to throw him in the ocean. That's nice, Derek. That's nice. Laurie gave Stiles booze, which made Kitty refer to her as a bad influence. Jack offered to help, like a good person, and he and Mike talked about how unfair it is that the island is made of stairs. Laurie brought a lawnchair and just watched -- what -- and Derek rightfully bitched at her for it. Clint offered to help, complained to Kitty about the stairs, denied Laurie her drink offer, and was macho at Derek.
In news that had nothing to do with moving, Toby found that Goodvalor's was already decorated for Christmas, Alec had apple cider at Wellspring, Allie was trapped with Christmas music at the Devil's Nest...and Mike was offering free drinks to people who'd helped him move at Caritas. So, three Christmas things, one moving thing. I was almost right.
I'ma speed back home now! By, kiddos!"
