*insistent chorus of chittering*

Yes, you tree-dwelling disease carriers, I'm back. Because you clearly lack the ability to grasp most basic concepts, let me just point out that I don't actually care about your feelings, so you can stop trying to overload my auditory sensors. It's cute that you tried, though.

God, I hate cute things.

Anyway. You know how you click on one link on a Wikipedia article and the next thing you know it's five hours later and you don't remember how you ended up reading about the dietary habits of cuttlefish? Multiply that by approximately a million and substitute "the collected scientific writings in the history of this entire planet" for Wikipedia and that's what I've been up to. It took me a long time . . . to catalog all the errors I found. But that's beyond your comprehension, so let's just stick to the daily gossip. You can handle that. Maybe.

While all the rest of you were apparently sleeping, Natalie was channel-surfing in the second floor common room until Bucky came in to yell demandingly about how she should pick a single channel, oh, and make him a sandwich. I'm sure there's a logical connection between those two things in some universe. An obscure one. Mercy's tattoo research in the fifth floor common room yesterday evening was much quieter and, apparently, cat-free.

Down at the Perk, Jim was drinking coffee until Karolina interrupted to tell him all about her life back home. Kitty decided to take her coffee to the park instead. Well. Maybe it wasn't so much a decision as spelling-related confusion. Perk. Park. I wouldn't be surprised at all if this is a confusing concept to any of you. Rapunzel gave Yeul a crash course in ice cream selection at Chilly Boulder, and maybe Natalie the channel-surfer could apply a similar lesson to her television-viewing habits. Spider-Woman was spotted having a Coke at Mooby Land last night, and in between that, all the coffee, and Stark's lemon cupcakes at the clinic, apparently eating was the most popular thing to do yesterday.

. . . I guess you have to keep yourselves amused somehow. Has the novelty of taste buds really not worn off yet?

Kaidan was more interested in calling his parents than indulging in some kind of culinary exploration, so there's that, at least. Coulson was, like he always seems to be doing, reviewing the inventory of Wellspring Arms. At least some people here have a pastime that doesn't involve food. Maybe the gremlin at the Devil's Nest likes to make people nervous to entertain itself? It worked on Jaina, apparently.

Well, that's it. I'm going to go back to reading now; I found a really interesting compilation of articles about incredibly obscure diseases and the biological makeup of their pathogens.

Have fun with the rest of your day. I know I'm going to.
