WTFH Radio, Sunday, October 28
"Okay, chill out, dude, I know it's not my usual day but there is no need to climb my pants leg like a tree. There will be no storing of acorns or anything, either. I'm ---*bleep*---ing here, okay? If you make me spill my coffee, so help me. So. Help. Me.
Anyway. Hi, it's Olive, and yes, I know the days are off but just deal with it. Let's get into this.
Dorms
Quiet day. I worked on my Halloween costume in the peace of my totally-roommate-free room -- not that I don't miss you, Karolina, but you know, I'm partying hard without you -- and Victor and Sparkle watched movies and talked about why they didn't go on the trip, which is just as well because now I know who's around to entertain me this weekend.
Town
Dani had to deal with annoying calls from her brother at the Gig, until she solved that problem by throwing her phone in with the horses. Clint had a treadmill stuck on salsa music at the gym, and got a visit from Kitty, who assured him that Derek is not trying to get in her pants, and one from Natalie, who just wanted to shoot stuff. Whooo. Healthy. At the Devil's Nest, Bo was celebrating Halloween a touch early, and was be-costumed and had wee jack o'lanterns out.
And then for some reason I have notes from the trip, which seems weird but I'll read them anyway. No idea how they got here, though. Are there squirrels in space?
Spaaaaaaaaaaaaace
So, there was something called the Citadel, which I guess is where people are hanging out this weekend. They got there via portal, and listened to instructions and went through security. Super-thrilling, so far. Space seems kinda lame. They eventually ended up at their hotel, and Liara and Yeul get into their room and Liara wonders about calling her mom. Topher and Ulrik geek out over the toothbrushes in their room -- sure -- and April and Jack are like 'holy hell, the view' and there might be tears or close to it. I'm just saying. Note are unclear. I bet April cried.
Anyway.
There was a museum and embassies, where Jack offended someone called a volus embassy, oops. At a cafe, Ghanima talked to a couple of...salarians? I think I got that. Anyway, apparently we Earthlings are kind of a novelty, so whoo for that. There were clubs, too, and at one Jono got hit on by an asari bartender. I feel like it'd be offensive to just substitute every word I don't recognize with 'alien,' but I think you should all know I'm considering it. Like how April got drunk and told a turian guy he looked like a bouncer. That's so helpful to me, not knowing what the hell a turian is.
Anyway. That's it. I'm going back to bed. Sundays were not meant for me to see people pre-noon, okay? Adios, Fandom and spaaaaaaaaaace."
